As much as I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff, I'm looking for a temporary, cheaper alternative while I'm on a budget. I was wondering if anyone who's used this has found a cheaper alternative to it. (But not just cheaper and ineffective...something that works very similarly to it for say more than half off of the price /images/graemlins/laugh.gif)

So far the only thing I have on the list to try is Suave 2 Minute Miracle. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

(You can just recommend a deep conditioner then if you haven't used this one /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

I've used a lot of Aveda products, but never this one. I have recently been using the Cream of Nature Conditioner and I leave it on for 1-2 hours under a plastic cap. It leaves my hair really soft and has great ingredients, plus it is under $6. Before that I used Deep Penetrating Remoisturizer (DPR-11) by QP Elasta.

I don't know of any substitutes /images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif, esp not anything cheaper. I've replaced it in my line up w/Nexxus Keraphix. I just have a hard time w/the Aveda scents. /images/graemlins/nono.gif

thanks ladies!

@ sengschick - you either love or hate the Aveda scents from what I've seen, lol. I love 'em /images/graemlins/smile.gif

eboniwoman - Sally's only sells the knock-off brand of Aveda called "Aura"

But you can search their website and see if they have a salon or store near you. I think they also have their products on drugstore.com

I tried this a long time ago too. I can't deal with the Aveda scents either.

OT:: OHHH, I love Aura Cherry Almond Bark. And that puff is licious /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif. Sorry I don't have an answer to the question.

I have used the Deep Penetrating Hair Revitalizer and my hair loved it! Unfortunately, I cannot think of another product like it- maybe try Kenra Conditioner'Moisturing Conditioner It may be a somewhat less expensive, but the consistency of the product is different....

I actually found Dark & Lovely's Moisture Seal Deep Conditioner this week. (4 bucks and some change) It's not as thick as the ADPHR but it definitely left my hair soft and manageable! It smells really nice too.

thanks for your help ladies /images/graemlins/smile.gif
