All About Me!
Has anyone else used this? I used this last night along with the Texturing Gel for a wet wrap and it's awesome. It left my hair soft, shiny and pliable when I combed it out this morning. It is really good for moisture and can be used everyday for medium hold.

Anyone else?

thanks for the review. i read in an article with tamara gray(from the first american ido) she said she uses the whole brilliant line.

I have also used the brilliant line in the past, only the shampoo and conditioner. I have been eyeing the styling products for a while. Does the Styling Creme leave a strong scent in your hair? How do you use the products, do you mix them or apply them seperately. I can wrap my hair but I am still having difficulty doing a wet wrap. Any tips would be appreciated.

The scent isn't too bad and it can be masked by other things. It has that woodsy scent like some other Aveda products. I used the texturing gel, emulsified in my palms and then applied and then did the same with the styling cream on a wet wrap. I have used the styling creme alone on my dry hair and it makes my hair soft and adds medium hold.

Nikki, when I wet wrap, and since my hair is starting to get past shoulder length, I am having a harder time, but I let my hair air dry about 15-20 minutes and then apply the styling products and use duckbill pins and then tie on the wrap designed for wrapping hair and then remove the pins. This works for me. Hope I explained it okay for you.

Thanks for the explanation.

last night, i mixed this creme with the ntm leave-in to apply to my hair b4 i do my braidout.... all i have to say is wow!!! i love this creme, it gives a light hold to my braidout and leaves my hair soft and moistured:) it has jojoba oil oil, aloe vera, glycerin, castor oil, and meadowfoam oil; which is an added plus!!

To me, the best thing about the Universal Creme is the smell. I love it! It was great on my relaxed hair, but is pretty non-descript on my natural. I think my hair just soaks it up now.

The Universal Styling Creme is fantastic! I use a lot of the Aveda products but this is among my favorites!

Mmmm... I have the Aveda Brilliant Serum, and I love it! I guess since I am going to visit my Mom this weekend anyway, I'll have to stop by the Aveda Store :sekret: and pick-up the styling creme.

I use it. It's great for bringing out curl def without having to constantky wet hair daily. I usually use it on wet hair, and let it dry, and use it for maintenance.
