Aveda Anti-Humectant users

Do you use the pomade on your hair before or after you flat iron or press?? I am preparing my hair to be straightened. I have already blow dried it. Then I put it in one low ponytail to the back; and I banded the ends. I will flat iron tomorrow and it will be my first time using the pomade. So in which order do you use it??? TIA!!

I use it as the last step when doing my hair. However, I may try flat ironing with it.

I also use it after I've flat ironed.

I think you're supposed to use it after. I read about a lot of people not having good results using it before flat ironing because its not made for that.

I use a small bit as a finisher and I like it a lot.

If I use Aveda Anti-humectant, usually use it after I have flatironed. I would say only use as little as is possible because too much tends to weigh the hair down. It does protect against humidity but I've found that if its gets too humid, it really doesn't work well on my hair and I still end up with poofy hair.
