I have been plagued by dryness for a while so recently I gave up my Aloe Rid (which I didnt use often anyway) in favor of a diluted AVC rinse and I loved it. It also helped a lot with the dryness.

Since I loved it so much I have made a bottle of AVC spritz. It is extremely diluted ACV, distilled water, a couple drops of essential oils that I spritz on my hair when I am done conditioning. I use this everytime I wash (twice a week or so). Do you think this is too much?

I am not doing a AVC rinse everytime I wash (which is a water AVC mix that is stronger). I am just using the spritz when I wash - I know ACV has a clarifying effect but its not enough to do that - the vinegar does not even smell in the mix.

This hair things seems to be such a struggle sometimes :(

I've always wondered the same thing since a relaxer is so alkaline, our hair becomes VERY dry as to what it can be (natural). I wondered if putting a little acv will not only bring, but keep the ph balanced. I dunno. :ohwell:
