I used it a while back, but I didn't know how good this stuff is for my natural hair!!! I mean WOW! This stuff is pretty good. And I love the scent. I think I'll be sticking to this one for a while...

What does it do? How does the hair feel afterwards? :look:

For me, it super moisturizes the hair. Doesn't contain any protein, even though its a reconstructor. My hair feels ultra soft and silky. The directions say to rinse with warm water then cool water to enhance shine, and the cool rinse does make my hair very shiny.

I've been meaning to try this ever since reading about DSD's great results!
(I think it was DSD who used this??)

Cool Beans... could be a future purchase... :)

There may be three different formulas of this product.

The first formula, IIRC, smelled gross, like Dimetab [sp] grape cough syrup. It provided little slip (probably because I didn't know a thing about haircare and manipulated my hair like a wildwoman). Then my hair started really liking it. Even though it didn't have protein, it was making my hair stronger.

The second formula (three minute deeeeep), it has totally different ingredients and a great smell. It has 938483038 different cones in it  so it provides great slip... not too sure about the conditioning properties.

This third forumla (never used it) possibly is the first formula with a new bottle.

It rinses clean, and some how manages to leave stronger curl definition in my hair after washing. It smells great to me and my hair feels soft, but clean.

I also notice greater curl definition when I use this product. It's a keeper. Sally's sell the generic version. I belive it's $3.99 for a 16 oz bottle.

Have you used the generic version? I wonder how it compares...

I haven't used it in a while since I have so many products that I forget what I have! But I just compared the ingredients list and they look the same. They smell identical too. I stand corrected on the amount that Sally's sells for $3.99. It is actually 24 oz at this price.

I think I may have used the first formula I threw it away cause it smelled like cherrys, and the smell of cherrys makes me nausea and dizzy I forgot what it did for my hair though.

Candibaby - I love your hair. I am transitioning as well since feb 04. I was looking through your album where did you get your phony pony I can't seem to find one that is good match for my hair texture. Do you know the brand or style number?
