So yeah... last night I washed/DC'd my hair.

When I was mixing my deep conditioner with coconut oil, I went to look for the honey. :perplexed

There was no more honey.

I did see the pancake syrup though :lachen:

It's just corn syrup anyway. Which is made of glucose and fructose, similar to honey.

I find that it works just like honey, gives you a little extra moisture and softness.

Here's how my hair came out today (twistout):

I'm tempted to add corn syrup (or Aunt Jemima Syrup until I buy some :lachen:) to my regimen. It's cheaper than honey and works the same way.

Lawd. The pancake syrup isn't safe anymore. Do I need help?

Anyways, what do you all think? Could corn syrup be a cheaper substitute? Or is there something bad that I don't know about it?

Umm...no...not at all. :look:

J/K :lachen:! The bolded had me rolling!

I would be concerned about the additives, preservatives and dyes in it that is not present in pure honey, personally, but otherwise...enjoy! :drunk:

On the plate...or on your head...

If I started using Maple syrup in my hair cococtions my family would riot
I already have a shelf in the frig dedicated to my hair mixes lol
