I've never had this happen to me before.
I just washed my hair w/ Bentonite Clay and rinsed it really well. Then I broke the seal on my brand new AO White Camellia conditioner and slathered it all over my thick, natural 4a/b hair.
I detangled (easily) in sections and twisted each section until I could see the conditioner oozing out from between the twists.
I put on a plastic cap and sat under the dryer for 30 minutes.
Once I took off the cap, a bunch of warm water made its way down my neck and back. I thought that was weird - but whatever.
I go to the mirror to see how my hair looks and the conditioner is GONE. I mean gone, gone. I lift up a twist and CLEAR water is dripping from it.
My hair is plump and soft looking but there is NO TRACE of the conditioner at all.
I rinse my hair and the water runs clear. Was my hair so thirsty that it simply ate every ounce of the White Camellia?
Has this ever happened to you? I'm about to twist my hair and let it air dry. I'm so excited to see how my hair turns out.
