All About Me!
Who uses the Aubrey Organics Shampoo (not the new Aloe Essence) and how do they make your hair feel? I use quite a few of them (Sea Buckthorn & Egg, JAY, Rose Maqueta, etc) and find that my hair feels like I just used a clarifying shampoo (but I know that it doesn't have the harsh ingredietns of a clarifyer) but my hair seems more receptive to conditioning after I use the shampoo. What do you ladies think?

I have been using the Island Naturals Butter Shampoo on a weekly basis for a month now...and I have to agree with you. It is like a clarifier. It leaves my scalp so clean. The best part is that all of the ingredients are beneficial to hair...with nothing harsh.

I used the Island Naturals and yes, it does make your hair feel clean. I also experienced this with the swimmers and J.A.Y shampoos.

ITA! I love this shampoo as a clarifer!

These shampoos are strong...one way to use them is to make sure that you are pretreating your hair with something (see the pretreatment thread for ideas!) and/or dilute with water first, in a spouted bottle and use it that way.

Okay I thought it was just me that these shampoo is very strong on my hair. I still have a bottle that is almost full. I should give this another chance since I put myself on a strict no buying hair products regime. I need to finish all the stuff I have bought.

I've used JAY shampoo and really like it. It took me a while to figure out the best way, for my hair, to use it. I agree with whoever suggested diluting it a bit before applying to the scalp. I too have noticed my hair feels cleaner and is more receptive to conditioners afterward.

YuNg, you can find that in most health food/whole food stores or on vitaminshoppe.com. Thanks ladies for your responses. Anyone else?
