I was just browsing around the web, and I came across this new technique. It's called the Carribean Dream relaxer. The site claims it can do 4 things;

Frizz control
Texturize from tight curls to staight
Create soft waves
Tame hair

This got me interested, because I am texlaxed, so I investigated a little further.

On another website, naturallycurly.com a dominican stylist named "Yeddy" a stylist that lives and works as a stylist in Curcao, Venezuela said this about the it; Yeddy recently discovered Caribbean Dream Relaxer (CDR), which can be used in salons one of four ways, from reducing frizz all the way to eliminating curl. Much like Japanese Thermal Straighteners, it avoids the harsher sodium hydroxide of relaxers and uses a perming ingredient, but a gentler one than the “Japanese” products. That’s where her experimenting comes in: She’s found a way to use it on extremely dense, curly hair with great results that allow women to style their hair straight one day and curly the next—another trend that’s new to the island.

I cant find the ingredients....suspicious if you ask me but no i wouldnt use it because i really dont understand it and it's way too expensive....plus them girls' hair just looks flat ironed...
