ATTEMPTED some different styles -- Lots of Pictures

Ok so since my hair is thriving and healthy and I pretty much got my products and routine down, I'm now just growing my hair out and keeping it healthy. So I have never been one for styles, but I wanted to spice my ponytail up, so here are the attempts, lol. Tell me honestly what you guys think. I don't want to be walking around looking crazy. Folks never tell you when you're looking a hot mess. Also do you know what I can use to slick all those little fly away hairs down and hide the hairpins?

Thanks ladies. This is the first time I tried to do pin curls. I am so selfconcious about changing my hair. In highschool I wore the same bobbed hair style for 4 years. I was even to scared to put it in a ponytail.I changed a lot since then.

Thanks ladies. No one knows how to tame fly aways? I tried to use some IC fantasia gel on my hair before putting rollers in and it camp out bouncy, but the fly aways were still there.
