in the thickness and fullness of your hair??

My ends have been a tad bit frizzy and not as thick and full as I would like them to be. I think I lost some thickness due to lack of DCing while in weaves, but I want to take some steps to getting back my hair full.

What was the first few things you did to get to the goal of fuller and thicker strands??

i was co washing everyday for three weeks straight. when i flat ironed my hair was so much thicker. now i am back to co washing everyday. i was only going to do so until school started but then i realized i could buy a pretty silck coach scarf and co wash everyday and wear the scarf even after school starts. so i will be doing this until it startes to get cold.

Well.......

When I started, I was a double processed mess!!! I have fine hair but a good amount of it but even then, the damage made my hair super thin and just horrible.

After growing all of that out, my thickness improved. I saw even more improvements when I made sure my diet and exercise stayed consistent.

Recently, my thickeness has increased 10fold by incorparating mega-tek and ovation cell therapy into my current regime. That stuff has made my hair thicker and noticably darker.

I kinda likey this one....ESPECIALLY the whole coach scarf idea. I have a secret addiction to coach.:ohwell:

How did you use the Mega-tek? I am strongly considering this product, but I am a little confused on how its used.

I'm not sure exactly when my hair begin to change, I did notice that it was shedding more than usual. It has thinned out some and I don't like it b/c I'm used to my hair being full. At the end of this month I will be back to bunning and stretching my relaxers, hopefully that will bring the fullness back.

Stretching relaxers and a sew-in for 24 weeks did the trick for me. When I saw my comparison shots I shocked to see such a huge difference. I can't wait to do my next 6-month update.

Good luck with getting your hair back in shape!

I used mn (I'm thinking of going to another growth aid such as megaTek or MTG, I havent made a decision yet. I really want to switch because i want more growth and mn was giving me CRAZY headaches, although it may work for you.)

Anywhoo, i used a basic mix of a cheap brand of monistat and some wild growth oil, i put it in a small applicator bottle and use it sporadically (mostly when i have the time or if i an remember)

What did it for me was not combing everyday. As soon as I did that, I noticed a HUGE change in thickness. I was also deep conditioning every other day for like 2 months. Boy oh boy did my hair get THIIIIIICK! I love it!:spinning:

7 month after i bc'd. i was on a super low maintenance reggie (only doing shrunken fros) and had been using castor oil for about 7 months. prior to that, i had a lot of thin patches of hair, so thin that you could see patches of scalp on unmanipulated hair sometimes.

When I was relaxing my hair I got thicker by stretching. Using MT has also thickened my hair. Also less combing
