I am what at best 3 weeks post maybe 4 and having problems with my hair. It's breaking and i am dealing with spider webs when i deep condition.

I don't know how much i will end up cutting. If i could cut it neck length and have it look decent i would. My roots are not the problem these under processed areas are the problem. I will either be 100% texlaxed or 100% bald. If i do nothing my roots will become a problem as soon as i have a bit of new growth.

Hopefully i don't cut to much. I want to get rid of my relaxed ends so they will be gone. How much else is up for grabs i do no i am tired. I am to the point of finding a stylist and cutting it all off. Than relaxing bone straight.

I cut my hair because i had not trimed my ends in over a year. A lot of my hair is texlaxed so my ends did look thin to me. Also i had a lot of splits.
So now i went from armpit back to shoulder length. All my progress from this past year is gone. Oh well

A new starting point lol. I will also trim with every retouch. Now if this does not work and i still have issues. Than i will do the corrective.

LoL I love the texture and thickness of my hair. I still have some relaxed areas left i will cut those slower. I just put my hair in a bun it has spikes in it. I Have also learned that i can not detangle until my hair is dry. My relaxed areas clamp together which is nerve recking. May be just maybe detangling will be a little easier. I no i still have some splits but i can't get those until it grows out more.

It looks like you did a good job and your ends look thicker and I would assume healthier!
Don't worry, as you know it will grow back and hopefully look even better than before!

Thanks ladies! Anky I will definitely keep pics and updates. I can't wait to see how much i have learned here gets put to use.
I also strongly believe that my relax ends where what was breaking. Just about every piece of broken hair was a relaxed thin piece.

Gurl i know what your going through my hair is so underprocessed in some sections and bone straight in others and this is on the same strand!!!erplexed I can never detangle my hair when its wet i seriously have to detangle my hair while its dry, strand by strand, which takes me a couple of days. You are so brave for the new trim! I dont think i could trim mines lol im jus grazing mbl........ but i love your thick healthy ends your hair is going to grow back faster and thicker then ever!!!!!

You and i are 1 and the same. I can not detangle unless it is dry. It took me a few hours to detangle yesterday. The under processed sections are the easy parts it is the relaxed sections that stick together. My hair drys in dreads lol.

I stillhave some relaxed sections i will remove those overtime.
