Just thought I'd share...........

I have finally found my staple products.......

GREEN TEA HAIR TONIC.....use on scalp /as daily refresher...my scalp is very healthy...I don't use grease or anything on my scalp other than this
MANE ATTRACTION.....keeps my hair moisturized and growing, great definition, improved texture and softness, I also have noticed my hair gets stretched very well in twists
SUN KISSED POMADE...good shine...smells great like mango's
CALIENTE....Hot Oil Treatment....instant results
OMEGA .....keeps me going through the week on twists...also works great for pressed hair (used on my Mom..major softness)

I just recently got the ROSEMARY SAGE SHAMPOO...will try this weekend
Elucence was drying my hair out...

Since using these products my hair has become more managable...washing is a breeze.....detangling can't even be considered that cause my hair is not tangled anymore after washing ....

I know this is long...just had to share my joy cause I have been a PJ for the last year in search of the "right" things for my hair...tried everyone Beauty Supply....Qhemet's...Oyin.....My Honey Child.....Carol's Daughter. So as you can see my pocket and hair will love me...

The only other things I do use.....
Qhemet Biologics Olive Honey Hydrating Balm.....good for twists or pressed hair
Qhemet....Soap of Alep - I don't even use conditioner after
Blended Beauty Curly Frizz Pudding....great on my edges of flat twists ( I don't use gel...this does the job)

Asha told me the condition of your hair should improve and become more managable...and she was right...and this is the only line both me & my Mom get great results from.

Qhemet products have been my staples for almost a year now. Besides the OHHB, I also love the detangler. That detangler has literally saved my hair, I can't run a comb through without it.

How do you use the detangler?

I'm glad you found something that can be a staple for you. I have wanted try Asha's products for a while now and never got around to it. I've heard oh so many wonderful reviews. Pluse, Ahsa is just so sweet too. :)

I use it on dry hair to detangle my hair after cornrows or twists. I take out the twist/plait, smooth 1-2 pumps through with my fingers until the hair feels damp then i comb right through it. before, i'd lose so much hair trying to detangle.

I ordered from Asha's not too long ago, I'm still waiting for my shipment. I can't wait until it gets here :D :D

I ordered the Sun Kissed pomade, Mane Attraction, Heavenly hair pudding, and Silk rose conditioner  ...I think that's what it's called. I have tried Oyin and Qhemet in the past. Oyin whipped pudding was disappointing for me, the moisture didn't last at all. I liked the Greg Juice, but if Asha's silk rose elixir is as good a detangler, I think I might just order from Asha's exclusively. I tried Qhemet Honeybush hair tea and it's a nice, light gel that doesn't flake.

Kiwi: How do you like your new products?

Deniece: How do you like the Rosemary and Sage shampoo?

I'm ready to place an order, but I don't know what I need. :ohwell: I think I'll go for the Mane Attraction and Silk Rose Elixer leave in. I would try the Sun Kissed pommade, but I think it's similiar to CD's Mimosa Hair Honey and I have a full jar of it. Thanks

I think the Shampoo is something you have to get used to. For me, it was just ok, I haven't had much luck w/ natural shampoos, but I do like Qhemet's Soap of alep. Love everything else from Asha's that I mentioned.

I actually haven't received my products yet. You see...living in Toronto and ordering from the U.S. is a big ole b****. It takes FOREVER for my orders to come sometimes!

How do u use the sun-kissed hair pomade? Does it get hard or is it greasy and rub all over clothes? It seems like it is exactly Mimosa Hair Honey from CD, like the OP said....

The sun kissed pomade is not hard. It is similar to the Mimosa Hair Honey but it doesn't have the corn oil. I actually threw the Mimosa Hair Honey away cause I didn't see any benefit. But the sun kissed pomade does give shine and smells good...and is not greasy, you really don't have to use that much.
HTH

BUMP

I just posted a thread on My Asha to see if anyone has used the products, I didn't see this thread when I first searched for info.

Is anyone still using, she doesn't have sample sizes and I didn't want to buy a full size.

What is your hair texture?? "
CALIENTE....Hot Oil Treatment....instant results" what type of results??? Mane Attraction...what is meant be improved texture??

I want to know too, "great on my edges and flat twists", "scalp is healthy", I would love to know if these results are consistent!

I've had fabulous results everytime I used Asha's. The stuff is very nourishing, which was better for me in colder weather.

it takes a long time, 3-4 weeks but ive always gotten my order. i havent ordered in a while, cause last go around i got extra cause of that wait!

3-4 weeks, wow! EmpressRi when you ordered, what would you recommend? I'm always looking for a conditioner that is extra moisturizing and detangling. Have you used the Silk Rose Elixir Leave In Conditioner? I like that it uses Rosewater and says it detangles and defines curls.

hello ladies.... I just received my order from asha naturals... I placed my order on the 12th of August.... I ordered the rosemary mint herbal shampoo, rosemary spritz, and the mane attraction hair butter.

Oh sorry I missed this!! The silk rose is literally just some glycerin and rose water butttt I do like it!

The mane attraction, sun kissed, and heavenly creme, shea what and leche de coco, I can't even front, my hair is blinging when I use them. And very moisturizing. That shea what pomade holds my hair down, and NOTHING holds my hair down which is why I rarely slick it back.

OK, the wait is similar to Qhemet and Afroveda wait. I may look into some products in the future.
