Okay Bmm you just convinced me to post my pix now instead of waiting for my Dec/nov pix to mesure a longer progress. Girl dont you know a girl is on the budget and was trying to save some film space hahha :lol: :p okay i know many wanted to see pix i just did some fat twists today after washing my hair and i finished the whole 14 pix remaining on my one time use digital camera. i figure its true sometimes people want to see pix because seeing is believing but i understand not having pix either because in general we do this for ourselves and i did not document at the beginning my journey like transitionning ,my first two inches things like that just big chop and bald head when i went to the beach. thats the only pix i had of the start of my natural waist length quest. i never thougth that my hair would even grow that fast starting from almost nothing but after all that hype on the MTG and viewing the horse's mane i had to jump on it. And you will see my hair is not yet long (just 2 months of MTG) but thanks to the whole regimen just what i gained and retained since july to august(5inch total i started with 2inches i now have 6"in some parts) is a big feast as i used to only get 0.25 to 0.5 per month without vits and mtg( it would have taken me 4-8years to reach my hair goal! :eek: ). i now get 1-1.5 per month(with that vits mtg water regimen i can cut many years i just need 1"a month for one year or two (trims at the end)and i m happy and by the way thanks mahalialee4 for the vintage thread and sulfur i added to my regimen i know i know i digress just a small shout out as all the info helped me come with the perfect regimen that works for my hair) . so if in that short time i can be there all i need and i will repeat one year to 2years max to see at least length instead of 4-8years! then i can discard the mtg ahhahah. I will post the pix over the weekend or beginning of the week and im going now to drop it off downstairs to cvs to develop :grin: bear with me hahah

I have to admit I did see like 1 person that showed proof. I understand people may not want to waste film, or whatever but I hear about all this growth but I just wish I could see some proof. I am not calling anyone a liar but geesh. Maybe its just me :perplexed :ohwell:

BMM, I'm the biggest skeptic alive. I am currently using MTG, but have braids in, so it's hard to tell how much my hair has grown. I will let you know when I take them out. I still say the jury's out, but after hearing about everyone's growth, I am becoming a believer too. I don't have a digital camera, but if the growth is as much as everyone else's, I might have to buy one. If so, you will be the first to know!

OMG...I saw your pictures. You have such "beautiful" long hair.
 
I started using MTG late July/Aug then I took my braids out and reached lower BSL straight, I don't know how much MTG pushed me over the hump but before I braided I was still top-BSL, so I believe that MTG helped and my hair is thicker, and it's already thick to begin with. I don't post pics. hth

Okay i dropped my camera this afternoon so the pix were ready at 7pm i thougth i would only get them monday so i updated everything now uploaded most of the pix to get an idea from july to now. as i used mtg for 2 months. check my fotki no password needed :)

Thanks Alli77! My girlfriend who is my biggest naysayer usually (ALWays telling me you take too much stuff, u hair obsessed, hahah your hair long in 1-2years aint gonna happen u betta slap some perm you look like a *****'s child while i was transitioning)came to see me. the last time she saw me in June with my bald head. When she saw me she made me get off her car go to my house and show her what i was taking. But she already takes wgo, PP biotin, nature's made super b complex and GNC Ultra mega ,goes to the domenicans every 2 weeks and her hair is bra strap (i think 2 or 3) i always loved it but never knew what she was taking and when she saw i had it she told me she take them. But usually with vits you have to wait like 1month to 3 months to see results now coupled with the mtg you see results in a week or two. She saw the bottle of mtg said i cant believe you put horse's stuff in your hAIR! read 3inch in months for the horse mane on the label, stretched my hair out and went to my desk in front of my internet connection, pulled out her credit card and said order me that stuff right now i want to be waistlength shoot!!!! and i show her shapleys and ordered it for her she just received it hahaahhahaha i never laughed so hard. Ever since then she even did my braids once, never say nothing anymore, tells me to do braid outs and even ask for advice for products and everything when it used to be the other way around . Same thing my family and my sister finally accept my natural hair and even ask how i dont shampoo but they see the results they are still wondering when it happened since june cause i always be in my bonnet in protective styles. finally im no longer considered a crazy woman in my own house they saw the results i never let nobody see nothing (hid under wigs when bald then weaves and when the 2 inches came put the braids):lachen:

The results are amazing and might be worth you trying for yourself. After the first two weeks you will be a believer. And you won't take pictures either because you'll constantly have your hair up in a protective style or a baggie as to not disturb your mtg from working. :p

You have the most beautifullest (that's right, I said it) eyebrows I have ever seen. Black, shiny, thick, and everything else that makes beautiful eyebrows. Is mtg slippin' down your forehead and workin' them eyebrows or what?- my goodness...lol
 
Thanks girls just that horse's mane motivated me to be persistent i had nothing to lose as i was already on a vitamin regimen but not on consistent baggy

Thanks girl I use it every morning and for a month i mixed it with masketi and it made my hair very elastic right now i use it with nothing else.(cause i run out i need to go back to bk get some more) i try using with the Glovers creme and minoval had a bad reaction, the minoval was doing to me what the surge did i dont know if mtg made them kinda irritate me but i notice for me the only thing that can be mixed with mtg is my masketi castor oil the rest no too much build up or irritation. i put it everyday but i washed every 3days with cond washes and i keep the cap everyday from morning to bed time and if i go out i sometimes not only put the plastic cap, the satin bonnet, a satin scarf on top of the bonnet and a bandana on top of everything i m crazy but thats the only way to avoid dripping and make my scalp think we in Africa in a hot summer i m trying to bypass winter my hair wont be out

(ftballwidow i am editing my post because you made me think when you said if i put the mtg on the eyebrows. You know what hum i cond wash every 3 days and apply mtg/masketi every day so i remember that every time i wash the mtg out in my shower my eyes are always burning because of the mtg/masketi and the fact that i use no shampoo so no stripping so you may be right when my eyes burn and the water/mtg drip under the show. And both masketi and mtg are known to thicken hair. it surely must be covering my eyebrows all the time cause i dont bend and i notice my eyes always burn in the shower hum i think you right come to think about it

Thanks Ftballwidow i think its the mtg and the vitamin regimen (Freeda, PP and al). usually i wear my eybrows very thin-like in the first pix with my blond/light brown hair. Girl i was gonna post a pix of what the regimen did to the eyebrows my husband did not let me take it it was crazy thick like his he sent me quick to the chinese to wax 2 weeks ago it was bad . no the mtg dont slip down the forehead but i know some of my friends in france do use huile de ricin /castor oil on their eyelashes with a q-tip and their eyebrows to thicken up. I just notice that when i take vits coupled with mtg the hairs on my legs are longer i m so tired of shaving them i dont understand same thing with the nails but i always clip cause i have to do dishes home but they always grow back oh well :grin:

Its all good girl we just all trying to grow hair and know if something works. Bmm you know the reason i used like a combo mtg and baggy daily and experienced such great results was because when i went to the shapleys website and received my mtg, i saw that on the instructions on the bottle i read "for tail growth : 1.apply original mtg to tail bone and lightly to length of tail. do not rinse or wash out. 2 braid and bag tail in the tail bag for maximum results.3 once a week check tail and reapply mtg. does not need to be washed between applications" it got me into thinking hum for for mane and tail conditioning and detangling the bottle advise to apply through the mane or tail and work in well (check your bottles it is written :grin: i know i know i m a detective i investigate everything and read everything i put on my head)and leave overnight and wash out the next day. So i m thinking hum for conditioning and detangling you put it all over your head and leave it and wash out the next day and forr maximum results, i m reading you put on the bone (think scalp) and only lightly on the mane and not touch the coat or neck. so i m thinking hum for maximum results, they not only braid(!) the tail,put a baggy over it and dont rinse it out and reapply once a week ok let me apply that to myself i m going for the maximum growth. so i twisted it by cond wash every 3 days and applying it every day and like them on braided hair to get maximum growth cause if you check the bottle depending on how you use it , you get different results: some might just get elasticity detangling using it as a prepoo, some might get clearing results to their skin problems, and some may be allergic to the product. i guess like the bottle says in their caution: as a normal precaution for the first time use, pretest unaffected area for sensitivity. i think like any product not everything works for everybody

Okay, being a farm girl myself, with the baggie thing, you do not have to use a plastic cap, although it is an excellent idea to get your moisture on, but the regular horsetail baggies do not have plastic inside. It is just a device that holds the tail in place like a covered protective style. Horses can wear this throughout the winter. I will post a site that might help. Bonjour
 
I have pics in my album from using MTG. its defintely not regular growth either, i wasn't taking any vits or any other topical aid plus my diet isn't great, i put it down to the mtg.

You make me sick Den! Your hair is so beautiful! I'm really loving those waves back there! I think I'm also seeing really good results with the MTG too! I've got braids and I'm so embarassed cause it's like I'm walking around with braids and an afro! Not Cute...but I'm not complaining about the growth either!;)

lol thanks for the compliments, i was pretty embrassed too, it was like have a mini forest on my head lol i'm going back on mtg again, as soon as i get my braids put in, happy growing.

Hi Mahalialee4,

I am glad to hear it is working for you. Did it jump start that grow you wanted? How is it working into your natural products. I have been natural products for a while and don't want to get too product junkie again but I am really anxious to get this hair growing from the shedding to see if it will fill out my volume faster. I think I am at my terminal length. Give me one of those play by play post of yours telling how long you used it and the length and thickness results. PLease :)
