Hi Vintagecoilylocks: Yes. It did just that. #1 On the sides near the temples, it is filling in so nicely. To explain. I colored my hair with a semi permanent color and I was absolutely blown away by the difference in my hairline now compared to before. I never had this kind of perfect looking hairline before. 2. Also in terms of length, I have gained a minimum of 2.5 inches on the sides and when I wear my hair straight down with a part in the middle, it looks so thick and healthy. The top of the crown hair is getting thicker and when I section it to comb it out and to oil it, I am wearing this incredulous grin these days. The back of the head is thickening up. I mean really noticeably. The sides are getting thicker and overall my hair is definitely feeling stronger. Like a total overhaul in texture. Each strand is silkier and the ends of my hair are strong and I am not losing any little pieces off the end, no knots etc when I do a comb out, wet or dry. The nape of the hair is growing out more and thicker. Now if I could gain 6 inches (or is that retain 6 inches this coming year 2006, girl, I will be no more good. That will put me about waistlength at the back, bra strap on the sides (over the shoulder bump has to be included) and my bang area should be at armpit length, hopefully as thick as possible. I am now applying it dry, putting it up in a bun and leaving it till I wash it and I think I will leave it for one week before I shampoo, and then do the Jamaican Castor Oil and Masketi then start all over again. That will be my 2006 routine. I will also oil the ends of my hair with my homemade wild growth. What is coming back to my mind is my Aunties and cousins that had such thick thick lustrous hair, and they used something similar to the MTG, probably doctored version of glovers on the farm, because their hair smelled like it faintly. Now those ladies some of them had hair down to their tushys, wildly thick. In fact, they were embarrassed by the shock of their hair to be seen with it down, but because of religious reasons they were not allowed to cut it, so they devised a variety of ways to pin it, tie it and restrain it with elaborate braided crowns and buns with braids etc. So I am just trying to get back to my "roots". Wow Tamika your hair is nice shiny and thick. You have a lot of volume with your hair straight my hair used to be so flat straight good progress!
