I heard this morning about Arnold Schwarenegger and Maria Shriver separating. I didn't know much about the couple but apparently they were complete opposites from the beginning. After 25 years, I don't get the point in separating but I've never been married so I don't know.
Either way, I found it interesting that one commenter stated that Maria was recently on Oprah talking about how wonderful their marriage is and that everything is going well.
Which made me think of a time with my ex (when I was young and dumb) got caught cheating and the other women was saying that they were fine except for me (yea ok... ). He was like are you crazy, they argued consistently and he didn't love her. Pretty harsh.
Which makes me think... Are we women eternal optimist or just delusion to the problems in our relationships?
Do we simple hope for the best thinking things will change or do we truly think things aren't that bad?
