Mods please do not delete! I know I put this same post in each different section but I wasn't sure whereto put this request. I haven't been online in some time and I have stalked Arjuni hair and would really like to buy some. Does anyone plan on ordering hair from the site soon and if possible could we combine orders? Or, does anyone haveany point to share or know a better way for me to be able to order the type of hair that I'm trying to get???

I've been busy and haven't logged on in awhile, but I still read the threads for tips. Any help is appreciated. if you have any suggestions please PM me if you don't want to reply to this post.

Thanks so much
:heart2:Arjuni Hair- Need it in my life!

Is she closed or something? I know you have to do the consultation. I still have some Arjuni, but its not enough to sell. I got my hands on it last year, I was part of the testing. The hair is beautiful, tangle free (sorry not helping your curiousity). As far as I know she's the only selling that type of hair.

She's not closed. But with the point system that they have- I can't purchase the type of hair that I'm looking for and the skype fee is an additional $150.00; so I was trying to see if someone with points could help me order some 3B mixed with 3C low luster hair.
You are lucky that you got your hands on some Arjuni!!!

You can only order low luster via the Skype consultation, I believe. Just go ahead and cough up that $150 for the Skype because the hair is worth it. I have Curly C low luster 16-24inch and Wavy B medium luster 14-26inch. And both are to die for.

ETA: Plus there is a maximum of 12oz per order, so anyone ordering hair probably would not want to combine an order unless they are only ordering a couple ounces for themselves.

The hair is from Cambodia - virgin. It's tangle/shed free. It's just good. She also offers various textures, lusters so you can blend with your own hair much better. So for the ladies that have shinier hair they would go with a high-med luster. Those of us that are more sheeny - low luster. The patterns range from 1a-4c (4's are very expensive and I think you have to be an "elite member - i.e. make a lot of purchases). The colors are only black and natural brown (no dye since its virgin) The hair can be used numerous times. I used mine for 2 installs, 3 months, each. You can also request hand tied or machine tied (standard) - but you can't cut handtied. I was a test group so at the time the wefts were SUPER THICK! On the feedback, alot of testers said thinner wefts, but the sturdier the weft, the less shedding. I washed, conditioned almost everyweek, and no shedding. I just let it airdry and it was beach wavy (I think I had a 2a -it was cheaper & available) It was that good! She also uses some method of sanitizing that does not disrupt the cuticle. People thought it was my hair (even though my hair looks nothing like the Arjuni - I had no leave out and this hair just looks so beautiful!)

Vintage there is nothing significantly great or sacred about that hair that differs from virgin indian hair. The owner has created this illusion of exclusivity, gave free hair to those with great weaving skills for great installs as advertisement, and of course limited stock and high demand.

the hair itself looks no different than any other processed or virgin non shiny hair. People are paying $400-$900 for an air of false hope.

I took a peek at the site out of curiosity.....Is this whole process normal for weave ordering?

that $150 PLUS the price of the hair is a bit much :-(. I want some Arjuni though!!!!
the reason she did that was because she couldn't supply that rare (which I still believe is processed IDGAD what she says) curly hair so she made it even more unattainable since she never has stock anyways. There were bad reviews of the hair and company on BHM but she threatened the forum owners with legal action against using the name Arjuni so you can't even spell out Arjuni on BHM at all anymore, wouldn't be surprised if the same happened here.

What texture are you looking for?

I've never seen any bad reviews about the actual HAIR on BHM or anywhere else for that matter, only bad reviews on the company, the owner and the process it takes to get the hair. But hey I could have missed something.

those threads always mysteriously vanish.

Really? Guess I've it's been longer than I think since I've looked at BHM. Considering the ruckus that the name used to kick up there I can understand if the board owners banned the word. Positive or negative when a vendor is getting multi hunnad page discussions on a board in 24 hours - that's free advertising they should pay for. I don't believe the hair is processed - however I don't own any arjuni hair. I do follow the owner on twitter and youtube. Oh and I did participate in one of her QA groups but I am not a professional weaver - nor were most of the people on the panel, and there was no free hair - only an offer I think to order first which I didn't bother with. She has pics and video of her production process and she's very transparent about it.

I can def say the hair I got was not processed in any form. Pure virgin. The testers got hair at deep discount. She states the curlier hair is harder to find, thats why its a premium. I loved the hair, hated the weft. I would not pay $400 for hair. Don't know the going rate, but thats crazy, unless you got it like that. I know threads on BHM got crazy, some of things said were violent, so I can see how they disappeared. Good luck OP. Also some of the backlash was because people did not get selected as a tester, some testers were unable to order because she ran out of hair, or some did not place orders in alotted time slot and lost out on ordering. The free hair was for people who volunteered to help her hair at hair shows. But the owner was/is a lawyer, so I am sure she put the smackdown on BHM. She was a member, there, but because the threads got so hateful she closed the account. But this was all during the testing phase last year (there were 2 that I know of). Not sure how things are now.

My sister has this hair and it's alright. I personally think it's way too expensive but that's just me. If I wear weave at all it's just twist extensions with hair that's no more than $10 a pack.lol

You gotta be vigilant because she opens up shop at certain times. I think she has a boutique now where you can buy hair quicker

Not at all I wore weaves for my entire transition and chose to forego all the hoop jumping that Arjuni requires. I got my hair from other quality vendors a couple of times and my hair was both tangle free and low luster also I got to order the hair I wanted instead of having to order hair I didnt want or need. That point system is pure insanity.

That is no longer the process. You can order at any time now.

I just ordered some straight hair (12oz) and I'm just waiting for an email. Now their curls looks soo good. Sometimes I do think their processed because I don't know of Cambonian people having curly hair. But the hair does look nice. I will be ordering Wavy B for next Spring and Curly C for the next summer :)

BHM is dumb if they fell for that! Arjuni can't stop people from using their name in a review if they are reviewing Arjuni hair.
