Arjuni and animal hair??

So I am part of their mailing list and just received a email from them that was intended to go to internal recipients. Well the email in summary speaks on them possibly wanting to use Cambodia national animal hair which can grow up to 24" in length.

Umm I really hope this isn't the case. I've never bought from them but this has me wondering if animal hair is the future in hair weaves ?

I've heard their is a bit pricey but is human hair having a supply shortage?

Did anyone see the email from arjuni as part as newsletter mailing list?

Wow!
I've never heard of this company before but that's crazy.
We've always called it "horse" hair in jest but I never really thought it would come to using animal hair.
Whoever sent that email will probably get fired soon... lol.

Yeah, I got the email as well. The annoying and suprising thing is that they stated that the animal (kouprey) is almost extinct. Only 250 of them is believed to be still around. How can a company, purely for selfish reasons skin extinct animals all in the name of beauty!
P.S. the letter was only meant for their investors but they sent it out to every one on their mailing list.

Well is guess the internal april fools joke backfired and some people on the mailing list will actually believe that is where Arjuni will get their conveted "low luster" hair.

whatever i'd believe she's sending out curly kinky animal hair before I believe she is sending out virgin unicorn curly cambodian hair.

sorry, I can't stand the owner at all.

:lachen::lachen::lachen: I know cuz there is not enough cambodians with curly/wavy hair to for the owner to sell. I just need a good pic of their curly 3b to get it duped by a cv.

if you search on BHM there is a 3C thread, if it didn't get poofed or deleted. You can't even mention their name or talk about that ***** and her processed jujubee hair anymore without getting in trouble.

I think that thread got poofed but that was her fault though. I remembered how she tried to have the ban removed but bhm mods refused. I'm going still try and find a pic though.

Why do you dislike her so?

BHM is like the weave and lacefront mecca online for black women based on reviews of hair and photos and info and such.

The owner joined BHM for the sole purpose of creating a brand of hair to market to the women of bhm and black women in general. She's an attorney that had to travel to cambodia often and assumed it was an untapped market I suppose since indian and chinese hair was all the rave.

The opened up testing and many women volunteered only to find out they had to pay to test the hair, usually when a manufacturer wants a product tested it is at no charge for the customer and potential consumer. Folks were shelling at upwards of $300 to TEST hair.

She did some really shady stuff to some of the testers. She launched but you had to make an appointment to talk to her about buying hair. 8oz of that hair cost at the time between $400 - $800. For no good reason at all to be honest if you know hair. But folks were buying into it being virgin and all.

I personally believe that most of the hair is processed because I have yet to see enough cambodians with curly hair like she claims they do, and can't provide photos of either. On top of never having hair in stock and waiting untill the 32nd of Weavetober to get an appointment to buy hair she charged a fee for photos of the hair. If that weren't enough she then required a skype consultation to get the curly hair that chicks were creaming themselves over and charged $150 on top of the cost of hair for that, even though skype is free...

And in general she would act as if she were doing YOU a favor buy letting you purchase hair from her. After some bad reviews and negative feedback and running out of moles to plant on BHM to talk up her hair she threatened the owners of BHM with legal action if they posted the name 'Arjuni' on the site. All threads and posts in regards to her company get removed quickly now.
