are stemrollers okay when you're trying to stay away from direct heat?

can you use it after your hair air dries or does it have to be straight?

how long do the curls last?

i use steamrollers sometimes and they work really well, the curls last longer and the rollers gives your hair body.

I have asked the same question weeks ago and the replies I got were kind of positive. Yes I think is it ok to use those rollers like Caruso .

You can use them, but I never have, because I have a less expensive way of getting the same results. If I'm in a rush in the morning, but have one hour to get ready, I either use sponge rollers with end papers to curl my hair while in the shower, and let them cool for 30-45 minutes while I'm applying make-up & getting dressed....or what I did this morning, used magnetic clip rollers spritzed with leave-in conditioner and serum on the ends of my hair without end papers. My hair came out smooth and bouncy. It didn't dry well in the back this morning, so I brushed the damp hair up into a bun in the back gently with a boar-bristle like brush. It looks fab! The trick is not to use too much setting lotion or leave-in conditioner. I am 8 weeks post-relaxer. You wouldn't believe how smooth & shiny my hair is today. I will try to take a photo using this method in the next few days so you can see.

I use steam rollers w/o any problems. They seem to be much better than using direct heat imo.

I've used them after air drying my hair, but my hair looks better if it's straight.

My curls usually last for the day because afterwards I either place my hair in a bun at night or wrap it at night.
