In my area, one salon is now offering them for 50% off. That's $75! I'm student broke right now. (Well, kind of) Is it really worth it?

To me, it is worth it if:

1) I will not have to worry about breakage or splits at all

and/or

2) I won't have to straighten my hair hardly at all.

I am relaxed and plan to continue relaxing.

Depending on the product and how well the stylist applies it, it's worth $75. The two biggest pro's for me in using BKT is that my hair is stronger and softer and takes very little effort to straighten (like 5-10 minutes to blow dry depending on my new growth).

Yes, the Aphogee 2-step treatment. Is it different in that it is stronger? Or, do your hair strands just feel thicker?

the bkt will straighten and strengthen your hair and last anywhere from 3 t 4 months i think while also making it retain more moisture whereas the 2 step will only strengthen your hair and last 6 weeks.
never done it lol (the bkt) but read up on it. They serve 2 different purposes altogether

girl, do you even know what bkt is? $75 is GREAT for bkt! where you at?! i'm flying up there for that one!

i'm just regular unemployed people broke, but i need that....

$75 is a very good price since it can cost between $175-300 for a treatment. You can buy the treatment yourself for around $75-100 and do it yourself multiple times.

IA. I'd be interested if I could find it for 75. I DIY many things but this is one thing where I'd much rather pay a professional.

In that case, you may as well drive into CT and have it done. lol :-) PM me if you would like the name of the shop.
