Are ColorShowers supposed to drip like this?

I just dyed my hair with the black color showers on Thursday night. I followed the instructions and everything and rinsed for what must have been like 15 minutes before shampooing about 4 times. I didn't have time to do anything with it so I just put it up in a hairzing yesterday(O.T., love those things! :) ) . Today I wet it so I could rollerset without re-washing completely and it was dripping tons of purple everywhere. I realize it's a rinse not a permanent color so this may be normal. I had just read several reviews saying it didn't bleed but that could just be when it's dry. I assume some will come off with each wash. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't needed to rinse more of it out initially. I had such a terrible experience with Sebastian's Colourshine red coming off EVERYWHERE over my pillows and clothes even when bone dry so I wanted to make sure the same thing wasn't gonna happen with this. :nono: Thanks all!

Bump for more responses..

I don't have an answer since I don't use colorshowers but I never have a problem with bleeding w/Sebastian's the colorshines (I use black cherry). Is there a possibility that you didn't completely rinse out the color when you first put the rinse in? Meaning did you rinse until the water ran clear?

Thanks for bumping for me. :) It's been a while so I couldn't say for sure but I know I rinsed for a very very long time before shampooing throughly. If I didn't rinse until water ran clear, it may have been because after I while, I assumed it wouldn't ever run clear because being a rinse a little will come out with each wash. That may have been erroneous thinking. Even so, with further rinsing and washing, it STILL bled, be my hair wet or dry and it wasn't a little. It was alot! You would think eventually it would stop after weeks of shampooing. Maybe my hairs just weird

no but i was thinking of buying one but i dont want it to bleed. does it bleed even after you blowdry and flat iron?
how do you use it, do you put it on before you shampoo and use heat?

Don't even get me started... The newer version of CS does bleed quite a bit more than the OG ever did.

It s/b okay after a couple washes, but I'm still noticing some color rubbing off on my clothes and I've washed and cowashed several times since my last color treatment.
