How many days did you intend to wash your hair in April?
How many times did you actually wash your hair in April?
How many times a month do you usually wash your hair?
Did you notice an increase in growth?
Did you notice any other changes, positive or negative?
Will you keep up the increased washing?
Anything else...?
For me...
How many days did you intend to wash your hair in April?
30
How many times did you actually wash your hair in April?
22
Approximately how many times a month do you usually wash your hair?
4-8
Did you notice an increase in growth?
I think I had about 1cm of roots (from dyeing) when I started, and 2 cm of roots now. So, I've had about 1cm of growth. Hardly astounding when the average is supposedly 1.25cms a month. I don't know if this is an increase as I haven't been measuring.
Here's a highly innacurate comparison, with pictures taken at different angles, and probably different distances... but I am wearing the same jumper!
Did you notice any other changes, positive or negative?
A lot of bad hair days.
Will you keep up the increased washing?
Probably not. Might up the frequency from 1-2 times a week to 2-3 times a week though.
Anything else...?
I didn't stick to just using the products I said I would, I took the opportunity to try out nearly all the products I own.
I also didn't stick to the braidouts as they started looking crap.
I found out conditioners with silicones in are great for avoiding frizz.
The main reason for my slacking off on the challenge was due to having an awful shower (student house...) which goes hot and cold. You really don't want to spend too long in there. Also, if I was going out in the evening, I didn't have time to wash (and dry, and style) my hair.
I've decided to go natural!
