I'm going to purchase some fresh mint and rosemary tomorrow, and that really will be it for me for this month.

I have bought a lot of stuff this month, but I'm just covering my basics as I return to my HHJ. A lot of the things I bought this month are in preparation to make my own products and there's literally one Shea Moisture product range I want to try, a couple of The Doux setting mousses, and I want to buy the Miche detox poo and boost spray so that when I try the line, I use all of the products together.

They market it as a complete system, although I believe their gel to foam mousse and tropical oasis gel would work as stand alone products..... I don't want to be wondering what if, or not getting the most potential out of the range because I cut a couple of corners.

Outside of that, there's a Garnier sulphate, silicone and paraben free range I spotted, I'd like to try that too. The rest will be buying staples and ingredients to DIY.

Have you used the curlsmith brand before, how do you like it? I keep seeing it pop up.

Once I lift my spending ban next month..... S

ilk scrunchies are definitely on my list, I've already got them in one of my multiple baskets :look:
It’s my first time trying it. At first, I was upset with myself because coconut oil is the 8th ingredient on the list and my hair hates coconut oil.
So far, it’s been amazing. I have been cowashing my hair daily and so far I haven’t had any itching or buildup. My hair doesn’t feel dehydrated. I’m able to detangle my hair with it.

I'm oohing and ahhing about this brand, I've not seen many reviews, it's been mainly 2 -3 a textures I've seen when it pops up. There's been a couple of type 4 hair ladies as well.

I've just been so focused on the DIY research that I've not yet gotten around to looking further into it. I've also got an eyebrow raised at the price tag, it's all good if it works though.

My hair doesn’t like coconut oil either, it really dries it out, it acts like protein in my hair. Is the ingredients list extensive? If not, 8 might be low enough not to make a huge difference, or perhaps there's enough moisturising ingredients further up the list to stop it from making too much of a difference.

They might have items without coconut oil or protein. I really need to check it out, I'll add it to my todo list lol

I purchased it at T.J.MAXX, a discount store. As long as T.J.MAXX has it, I’ll get it.

The ingredients list is extensive. I’m going to be very attentive to my hair while using this product, to minimize possible setbacks if the coconut oil starts to become an issue. The first sign is my hair feeling hard and dry under running water.
