DD went on Snapchat asking around and found a BSS open near us. We went there today and waited outside in a short line. They were letting in 10 people at a time. We bought some Kanekelon hair. We’re going to watch some videos and learn how to do some knotless box braids during the shut in. So in order to stay on topic:

• Nurcreations Rice water shampoo. It was moist feeling but no lather. When I rinsed it out my strands felt slightly squeaky but defined.
  
• Nurcreations Fermented Rice Water Rinse and Fermented Rice Water Deep conditioner together steamed in. Hair was soft yet strong feeling.
  
• SSI Tahiti Buttery Sorbet, sheen and softness
• SST Plum Nectar Agave Curling Syrup, slight curl definition
• Curl Origin Leave in Whipped cream, bomb as a LI. Dried soft and supple. Nothing else needed.

Miss

• SSI Plum Nectar Agave Curling syrup on its own is too light
• SSI Tahiti Buttery sorbet is no longer on the website

Soultanicals Afrotastic Deep conditioner - loved the way this felt when I initally applied it but once I rinsed out although it said it was a low protein my hair felt so dry so I had to follow up with a moisturising DC
Anything protein (DCs especially) at the moment - my hair is not feeling it at all recently

SSI Barbary fig buttercream- very nice. Lighter than I expected and a much more whipped creamy consistency. Reminded me a little bit of my new love Gorgeously kinky buttercream.

APB Garlic Oil as a hot treatment.

Curl of Essence Rice Water Conditioner- really nice, very moisturizing. I have some masks to try from the brand so I’m happy to try them soon.


Miss
-SSI plum nectar shampoo. Much more stripping than I expected. I’ll give it another try but nothing is pulling me from my design essentials. I don’t need more clarifiers.

-My decision to get back to doing more DIY products including Ayurvedic ones. Taking out my old stash and having to toss a bunch of powders. Now I’ll have to replace them. Smh.

NegesBanda Chebe 2n1 cream, its a slight hold to it, which I don't look for in a leave in, best suited to style hair not as a leave in right after wash day
UPS shipping, its the third business day they didn't deliver my package but it said out for delivery. We will see what happens today
SSI Plum Nectar/Agave Styling Custard, I need to use another leave in with this in order to not have a lot of crispy hold when the dew points aren't the best

I am going to order another jar from my honey child and compare the two. I had my previous jar for over a year and I didn't have a single issue.
