Continued Hit:

- Oyin Hair Dew
- Ouidad Curl CoWash
- DB Pumpkin Seed Conditioner

From Hit to Neutral:
- Jessicurl Too Shea: opened up a new bottle and it is super thick and not as slippy. I don't if it is a one-off or what to expect going forward.

BIG MISS:

All Suave Naturals conditioners. I think SN had to change the formulation of their conditioners because when I used them about 5 years ago, I loved them and now I can't stand them. They don't give my hair the slip they used to like vo5 Moisture Milks still does. So yeah, they are on my miss list.

BIG HIT:

Affirm Fiberguard (mild, lye) Relaxer. My hair is strong, shiny, soft and manageable - new formula/packaging. I am texlaxed by the way.

Hit: Claudie's deep moisturizing conditioner and tea spritz
Continued mega hit: joico moisture recovery treatment balm
Revisited hit: Coconut oil as a prepoo (8 hour or more).

HITS:
- NaturelleGrow's Moisturizer
- NaturelleGrow's Pumpkin Butter
- Inversion - made my hair grow an inch in a freakin WEEK! :pulpdance:

3 years 6 1/2 months relaxer free

HITS: Miracle 8 Wonder Oil for oil rinses.

MISSES: Pantene Pro V Natural Relaxed Shampoo and Conditioner
Made my hair feel like a darn rock. :censored:

Continued hits:
Bee Mine Deja's milk
Avocado oil
Papaya oil
Aphogee 2-min reconstructor
ORS olive oil replenishing conditioner

Neutral
Bee Mine Bee.u.ti.ful not sure yet will continue to use before I make up my mind, I do like the fact that there is no protein in it though.

Continued Hit:
Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root and Hair Cream (Love it! Reordered it a few days ago)
Jamaican Black castor oil (Can't get enough of it)

Miss:
Darcy's Botanicals Pumpkin Seed Conditioner. I will finish it because I won't be wasteful (I think I only have one cowash left). That's it. I won't use it again. It's pretty meh to me. Too thick to use for cowashing and it's quite difficult to get out of the bottle.

tiffers what did you just type? You know you gotta elaborate, you can't drop a bomb like this in here and not give all the details.

ronie :lachen: You haven't been looking at the "Grow an inch per week?" thread?

Here's my contribution:
www.longhaircareforum.com/showpost.php?p=18202813&postcount=50

Here are two videos on the technique:

There are multiple ways to do it, I chose to bend over my bed like I was washing my hair in a sink. Four minutes a day for a week, and I got an inch from it. :yep:

Oh, and I was too lazy to heat the oil up, so I just used it straight out the bottle.

Wow... i have seen the thread popping here and there the past few days, but i never bother reading it, thinking it was bogus. I might have opened it once when it was just starting but never clicked on the link. I am a mighty slow grower too, and it does not help that growth aids make me shed more than they help me grow. So i will definitely try it. Now i gotta find something to rub on my scalp. I been using HH sprout on my bald spot (edges and nape), but am afraid of using it on my whole head (shedding).
Will let you know how it goes, and what method i use. Thanks for sharing.

I loooove what DB Pumpkin Seed condish does for my hair, but it is getting quite frustrating trying to get it out of the bottle.

Hit:
herbal essences hello hydration - WHY did I wait so long to try this? I never want to use anything else for cowashing

african pride dream kids olive miracle quick bounce detangling pudding - this is the same as the shea butter miracle stuff, just purple. gives me very soft hair and defined curls

 BIG HIT: Bentonite clay wash--I did a treatment on my 4C natural DD and I was able to comb her hair in a way that I haven't been able to do since she was 18 months old and had much less hair. I used Redmond brand clay and mixed it with equal amounts of AVJ and ACV until I got a consistency similar to mustard. I also added about 1/4-1/2 tsp of burdock root extract to the mixture. I left it on her hair for about 45 minutes with a plastic cap and then rinsed. Her hair was softer than it has been in recent memory. I didn't do any additional conditioner and when I went to comb it I only had about 1/4 of the detangling to do than usual. I'm going to do this at least monthly and next time I'll experiment with adding honey for extra moisture.

That. It burnssssssss. I feel like my scalp caught the clap. Maybe ill dilute it with water and it may be more pleasant...otherwise...miss.

Woo! Continued Super HIT
-Bobeam Cocoa and Rhassoul shampoo bar. Feels like I just rinsed out a DC
-Bobeam Tea rinse
-Qhemet Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee. Wonderful as a DC, leavein, and rinse out
-HH Soft Lime Marshmallows. Wonderful last night as my detangler and leave in
-Silk Dreams PRE. I use it to seal my twists. Beautiful results

Super hit: Oyin handmade Hair Dew awesome on my damp hair only did nothing on my dry hair...

Hit: Marie dean Olive, wheat and berry protein DC smooths on and left my hair soft and awesome!

Horrible disappointing MISS: Marie Dean Coffee and Kokum DC left my hair feeling like straw. My hair tangled as soon as I applied it. Never again...

I know y'all usual do hit and misses on hair product but I just had to mention FHI Nano 2000 hair dryer, it's a HIT. I love the way it dried my hair with no problems and the comb attachment is strong it didn't come off.

Hits:

Almond oil as a pre poo

Neutral:
SD Vanilla silk moisture Creme (the first time I tried it my results were so so, but I figured out what caused it. Then I tried it for the 2nd time and my hair felt amazing, so ill be trying it again to see if I'm going to keep it in rotation with my other DCs)

Miss:

Hemp seed oil as a pre poo

Dr Miracles deep conditioner, mineral oil and petroleum laden worked when all else failed

Misses: Dr miracles leave in; I think it is for straightened hair so it was probably my fault for using it on a curly style - no clumping or detangling

ETA: Afroveda hemp creme gave me a great wash and go with a light oil
