Scalp Treatment: Komaza Pona Scalp Treatment
Cleanse: Redken Hair Cleansing Creme
Detangle: SSI Avocado Moisturizing Conditioner

Prepping for my relaxer which will be next weekend. Tomorrow I will:

Pre-poo: Annabelles Pre-poo Treatment under heat for 20 mins
Clarify: Redken Cleansing Crean
Poo: Keracare Hydrating Detangling Poo
Protein Treatment: Komaza Care Protein Strengthener
DC: Naturelle Grow Protein Free DC
Leave-ins: Annabelles/Oil/Mixed Chicks
Heat Protectant: Kenra Blow Dry Spray
Dry: Blow Dry
Flat Iron: SEDU
Trim Ends: The Mane Choice Hair Scissors

I'm currently doing my hair on Mondays and Thursdays.

Yesterday, Thursday, I used/did the following:
  1. Cleanse and finger detangle: 22nd Century Natural Shampoo Bar (and Malibu C Hard Water Shampoo to clear the way for a protein treatment)
  2. Treat with protein: Komaza Protein Hair Strengthener
  3. Deep condition: Alikay Naturals Honey & Sage DC
  4. Moisturize and seal: Scurl activator spray and Jakeala Shea Amla Hair Parfait
I installed 12 twists and donned a wig. I will untwist, apply Bronner Brothers Firm Hold Curling Gel, and retwist. Rationale: I need something for hold, and applying gel over butter on wet hair failed for me last time. Maybe letting the butter dry first before applying gel will work???

I am feeling a lot better than I did last week and my cold is just about gone so tomorrow I will be giving my hair some needed love and attention.

Prepooing with Marshmallow, Slippery Elm EVOO, and EVCO Rinse

I'm using the entire Natur Growth CayenaWood Moisture Repair System:
From the Shampoo with added caffeine powder for stimulation to the Leave-in

Additional Treatment:
Alfaparf Bond Rebuilder

***If I have time, I'll do a HOPS, Horsetail and Sage rinse for thickness and shine.

Later on I will be moisturizing and sealing with:
SSI Marshmallow Herbal Hair Cream and my DIY Shea Butter Blend.

Scalp treatment: Massaging miconazole nitrate 2% onto the scalp and leaving for 1-2 hours (Done this twice so far and my scalp itchiness has subsided greatly).
Shampoo: CRN ginger rinse 2x
Protein treatment: Aphogee 2 step
Deep Conditioner: TGIN miracle hair masque

Hey hey! I think my two week hair laziness is over.
Today I:
-shampooed with Carols Daughter Almond Milk
-Aphogee 2 step (only the first step tho. I’m not a fan of the balancing moisturizer)
-under the dryer now with bekura Cacao Bark and Trader Joe’s Hair Mask
-will follow up with CareFreeCurl Gold (new item) and shea butter to put my hair in two large flat twists overnight

The hair dye went well. I used my fave Ion Demi Permanent hair color. I mixed 1 oz of Dark Warm Brown with 1 oz of Clear with 4 oz of 10v developer. My hair is super shiny and no greys peeping through. I have some chunky twists air drying under my bonnet.

Things aren't looking good for the flat ironing. It was raining all day yesterday and the forecast hasn't changed for today.

Same old same over here. Although, I have been extremely lax with my regimen these past few weeks.

Wash: MC Easy on the Curls Detangling Hydration Shampoo
DC: MC Green Tea and Carrot Deep Strengthening and Restorative Mask
Moisturize: Camille Rose Hair Milk, Oyin Whipped Pudding, Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade

Put hair in 4 plaits that will be pinned so that I can continue wearing my wig.

Scalp Treatment: Cantu ACV Root Rinse
Post-wash sealant: TMC Ancient Egyptian 24K Gel

Detangle & DC: Mielle Organics Babassu Mint Conditioner

Didn't use SSI Avocado Moisturizing Conditioner because I forgot the Mielle is slippy enough on its own so I just detangled with the DC.

The rain let up so I decided to take my chances with the flat iron. I used ORS Olive Oil Oil Sheen as a heat protectant. My flat iron is 1 inch Hot Shot Tools. I got it from Sally's eons ago. I did 2 passes at 420°F on thin sections. Took 70 minutes.

I want to upload a pic but LHCF isn't letting me be great. Maybe I'll try in the morning.

  1. Overnight Oil Prepoo
  2. Demi-Permanent color
  3. Diluted shampoo
  4. Hot Cap DC
  5. Style: medium twists styled with leave in and pomade.
I need to henna too, but don’t feel like it. Maybe next wash.
