Here's todays long hair growth tip:

Applying Chemicals

Chemically treating dry hair is very damaging and extreme
care must be taken to preserve it once it has been altered.

One recommendation that cannot be stressed enough is to be
very careful when applying or having any type of
chemicals applied to your hair. A lot of us end up using
two types of chemicals at the same time. This is sure to
break your hair. Never mix chemicals, if you have a
relaxer do not use a curl perm. If you have a curl perm
don't use a relaxer. If you want to change the color of
either of a curl perm or a relaxer, temporary color is
the best. It does not attach the cortex of the hair like
semi temporary or permanent color. This set of
instructions should never be mixed. If you feel
a tingling during any chemical process, stop immediately,
rinse and wait at least four weeks before trying again.
