Hello

So i have 2c/3a natural hair. I did a lot of colordamage to my hair and you can see it specially at the ends...because that hair had more to suffer..i had a dark hairdye and lightened it up so you know what a mean...real damage :)
So i thought last year. Why not keep dying it at the roots and wait untill it's long enough to do a good cut. It has grown very good. I do the search and destroy method and that has helped a lot.
I want to know when do i know if i need the aphogee 2 step or that my hair needs moisture? There is no life in the ends in my hair (only when i style it you almost can't see the damage) But i want it to look healthy as much as it can when i let it air dry.
A big cut is not on my list now...because i see that i'm retaining length:yep:

Your hair needs both. I would get on a regular schedule of doing protein first then follow that with moisture. HTH

ETA- and follow with a light trim to get rid of your bad ends slowly.

my current regimen:

wash with curls cleansing creme.
Co-wash with megatek (feels great!) I use this also as a deep treatment
Curl junkie rehab for moisture
Garnier Fructis triple nutrition masque(i always end with this one)

I get out of the shower and put curl junkie curl assurance styling water
Then Vatika oil
And at least i use Curl junkie Curls in a bottle

I make one big braid and put it into a bun.
