Hi Ladies, I was hoping someone could advise me...

I have about 2 1/2 inches of new growth and I don't want to perm my hair, can I use the Aphogee treatment and other products or do I need to first relax my new growth?

If I can use the products, what should I get in addition to the treatment and moisturizer?

Thanks

I'm going to the beauty supply in a while, please help. I want to try the surge too, is that a good combo??

Aphogee is a very strong protein treatment that requires an intense moisturizing conditioner after. Are you experiencing major breakage?

I use Surge on a nightly basis and only on my scalp, I then seal it with S-curl. I don't put it on my hair like the directions on the bottle says.

Yeah, and my ends are fried. My new growth appears to be doing okay, but the rest of my hair is a mess. I took my scarf off this morning and concluded that I HAVE TO do a touch-up, but I'm going to use a kiddie perm.

Im interested in using Aphogee as well, my hair seemed healthy but I notice alot of weak points (kinda like a little turn) mid-strand. Do you think that Aphogee would correct that and make it stronger?? And also, I understand that after Aphogee, an intensive moisturizing conditioner is needed, what do you suggest??

Well I'm natural and I use Aphogee all the time, you just have to make sure you follow it with a moisterizing conditioner or the balancing one that they make. I would say though don't use it too close to your relaxing date give yourself a week at least. BTW, IT REEKS to the high heavens.

Lucia is right... i ALWAYS use the aphogee balancing moisturizer right afterwards along with my moisturizing deep conditioner.
