Anyone able to give a review of the formadelhyde free BKT. They say it doesn't straigthen as well and doesn't last as long so I'm thinking it may not do anything for my 4a resistant hair. I really want to give my hair a break from the relaxers but I still want to wear it straight. Since I can't use the Pravana over my relaxed hair what I'm thinking of doing is transitioning with the BKT let it grow out 2in past shoulder length, then start cutting off my relaxer. Once I get rid of the relaxer I can use Pravana instead.
The formadelhyde really makes me nervous but in reality is it any more dangerous than the chemicals in a regular relaxer? I'm sure that junk causes cancer as well. And if I don't do the BKT then I'm gonna continue to relax so am I saving myself one way or the other? Anywho, any one who've used it I would appreciate reviews please and thank you.
