Anyone use Silk Elements or Designer touch?

I've used Designer Touch and wasn't impressed b/c it was a bit strong for my scalp. If you like your hair bone straight it's okay.

My mom has used Silk Elements and it left her hair extremely silky and tangle-free, w/ lots of body. I was actually just thinking about purchasing this but went w/ Vitale instead. I still may get the Silk Elements though.

Hope this helps;)

I have been using Designer Touch for 3+ years. At first it burned the daylights out of me but then I realized I was not giving my scalp enough time to rest from my last wash. Once I did that and based my scalp well, I had no problems and I do love the results I have been getting.

Designer touch was a bit harsh to me but if you condition well you can get away with it. My relaxer of choice of Design Essentials, but I could never get my hands on it to do it myself. I loved it tho when my stylist used to use it. I had lots of body. My second choice is tied between Vitale or the PCJ original. I've never used silk elements and now all my relaxer days are over. :)

I don't know anything about relaxers, but I do use Silk Elements Silken Child hair creme for night conditioning and for pressing if and when I do press- my hair flows and swings so at least with that product I am impressed with Silk Elements.

I found the designer touch to be gentle. It didn't burn me at all. It was really nice the first week but then reverted too soon.

I would love to try the Silk Elements.
