How exactly do you use it?

Why do you use it instead of a regular towel?

Is any color t-shirt ok as long as it's 100% cotton?

Thanks!

i do, i do. causes way less frizz than a towel (even when i blot the towel). i've only used white tees...dont know if different color would make a difference. i wrap it around the ends and squeeze...dont' rub. or i wrap it like a turban.

I have used tshirts in the past but IMO they are not very absorbent.

I now use Quick dry bath towels and these really dry yur hair fast.

I bought a set at JC Penny and they are great to have for showers and hair washing because they wick away the water so quickly.

I use a t-shirt by scrunching out excess water prior to applying leave-in conditioner, moisturizer, etc. I use it on the ends of my hair only.

I use a t-shirt 100% cotton.

A towel dried my hair out; the t-shirt didn't. Not sure about the color; the one I use is a red one.

I use them. I pull them over my head and then pull it back over my hair, tuck the sleeves and tie them and let it sit for about 10 minutes. That usually absorbs all of the dripping water, leaving enough to apply products after it.

When I want my hair really dry, I use a generic ShamWow which pulls off much more water and they are only $1 at the dollar store.

I only use white because I bought a pack. Not sure if color is an issue.

I use 100% cotton white they are the only thing I dry my hair with, like stated way less frizz:yep:

I only use t-shirts. I don't notice the color. My hair is 100% less frizzy and I have so many less hairs and knots left behind in the shirt than with the harsh, rough fabric of the towel. Plus the towel dries hair too quickly, and I'm trying to seal moisture in and keep my hair as pliable as possible while styling.

I might try the Shamwow idea. I never would have thought of that. Thanks. :]

Yep, I used T-shirts to dry my hair, my husband was just complaining about this since I use his T-shirts, lol. Any color any style as long as its 100% cotton. I put the neck portion around my fore head and use the length of the shirt on the length of my hair, twisting and tucking it in the front just like I would with a towel. I hope that made sense.

I use to. I would wrap it similar as in this video...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1SAYgbzPGo I haven't listen to what she was saying on this video I just picked it to show how I wrapped.
It was the only way I could figure to get a nice air dry. I liked it because you could go out with your hair wrapped like this. I only stopped because it takes longer for my hair to dry this way.

I used to use T-shirts until I purchased some Micro fiber hair towels from TJ Maxx. They are awesome and help keep my hair from frizzing! The MF towels are more absorbent and help my hair dry faster than the t-shirts too.

I use a white T shirt to dry my hair and I just squeeze the excess water out of my hair before I get out of the shower then wrap the shirt around it while I dress and then take it off it gets rid of all the dripping water and then I apply my leave in. Works wonder, no more frizz!

I use a white T-Shirt to squeeze out excess water, then put my hair up in my terry turban for about 25 minutes. I get less frizz than using a towel and the turban sucks up more water than would the t-shirt alone.

What everyone else said. Plus the t-shirts help curls stay defined (since there is less frizziness vs when you use a towel):yep:.

I use a towel to dry my hair. Once I step out the shower I put the neck part around my forehead and just twist the end into a bun....It works for me!

This is EXACTLY what I do but AFTER applying leave in basically to soak up drip so my shirt isn't wet when I leave for work. I NEVERRRRRRRRR let a towel touch my hair!!! :nono:

All the time,100% cotton, just like this...

Its called "Plopping" or "Plunking"

It also combats shinkage for me a lil...

Sometimes I sleep with it after wash and go'in, and wake up with almost dry defined, frizz free curls, and all I have to do is diffuse for volume...My hair in my siggy is after plopping for a few hours...

ive been doing this since my micro fiber towel is a little raggedy now lol. i just flip my hair over and stick it in the middle of the shirt and then wrap around like i would do a towel and tuck it at the base of my neck. i love the results of the T-shirt.

Plopping is EXCATLY what I do too. Best method I`ve found for drying my curls.

I only use white cotton T shirts to dry my hair. Hubby brought me a couple of packages, so I would stop using his :lachen:.

Absolutely! I only use 100% white cotton tees to dry my hair. I usually put my leave-in on when my hair is soaking wet, then I put my head upside down, put the tee shirt on the back of my head and then twist it up like a turban. Then I go about my business getting dressed, applying make-up, etc. When I'm ready to leave for work, I gently take the tee shirt off, shake my head and roll out. This is the best way for me to get defined curls that are not frizzy.

Towels are no longer allowed to touch my frizz prone head. :nono:

Yes that is the only thing that soaks up water really good. I had a microfiber towel but it still leaves my hair wet. I use colored and white shirts and see no difference. It really cuts down om drying time

LOL. I just washed my hair and I'm sitting with a t-shirt on my hair now. I noticed less frizz since starting to use t-shirts instead of towels.

I use a tshirt but I just ordered some microfiber towels off ebay. I wish I would've known the dollar store has them.

I use to but stopped. I find my hair retains more hydration if I apply LIs on sopping wet hair. I don't even squeeze out excess water before apply LIs.
