Anyone tried "Wild Growth Hair Oil"?

i love how it locks moisture into your hair... but i don't think it actually accelerated growth. it did help me with retaining length though... so that's a plus.

now it makes my hair heavy, so i only use it in the colder months. :yep:

I completed my first successful airdry last night by sealing with WGO. I only apply to my edges and I think it is helping but I am not positive.

I use it mixed with doo gro and boundless tresses. and ive just added MN. I believe I get pretty good growth. I don't know how well because I never measure but my hair is growng so must be doing something right.

This is like the only oil that kept my hair moist after applying it to my wet hair. It gave me nice big loose curls too. I may repurchase this and just forget about trying to find the perfect moisturizer and use it to seal the water in.

Its a great oil for softness, especially on your new growth. I dont think it really makes your hair grow, but does help with retention. It has a strong smell which is the only thing I dont like about it...that and it costing $8 for a few ounces.

I love it on my hair for a glossy shine and to lock in moisture. A little goes a long way too.

I tried it in the past for growth, but i didn't notice faster growth results... but maybe i didn't use it long enough.

It is a great oil that I used when I began my haircare journey, but I have sinced replaced it with multiple natural oils like olive, castor, almond, coconut, etc.

I bought a bottle a few years ago, and mine smelled normal.

It's okay, but I didn't replace it because I found other oil blends that were clearer and better for my hair. I didn't detect a bad odor whatsoever.

hi all newbie here, i tried both WGHO and virgin hair fertilizer, if your looking for growth go with the fertilizer IT WORKS! saw results within a month

I've used Wild Growth Oil. As far as growth from the product, there wasn't really any, but the product works wonders on keeping hair soft and moisturized. I like it! I just wish the product does what the name says-----makes your hair growth wild----

I've used it in the past, but don't remember seeing any increase in growth. It always left my hair super shiny and soft tho. Although I liked what it did for my hair I never replaced it b/c I've found other oils that I like more.

I used this and it really irritated my scalp. Now I use it to seal the ends of my bun and it's great for that. I had some thinning at my temple after I started bunning and I started to use emu oil and that helped it to fill back in.

I used it on Friday to do an overnight oil pre-poo, and am STILL dealing with the aftereffects. Once I tried to shampoo & condition, combined with my wavy, texlaxed new growth, I could barely get all the residue out. Had to jump back in the shower like 3 different times to really get it all out. Not ever going to do that again! :wallbash: Besides, I really hate the smell of that stuff!!

I have tried it. I do not recommend it at all. It caused my hair to flake and it does nothing positive for me at all.

Yes, this was a sure nuff bandwagon/PJ purchase. I didn't care for it. It didn't do much for me...however I still use the bottle...as a mtg applicator.
I think WGO is for oiling the ends, it didn't work as a topical growth aid for me.
I won't buy it again because i use other growth aids that actually work and i use other items for moisture.

I looove this oil. I use it in my pre-poos, to oil wash, and the seal my ends. Keeps my hair soft, shiny, and strong. No excellerated growth though :ohwell:

I've used it, but I couldn't take walking around smelling like a big stalk of celery- THAT STUFF STINKS:perplexed!! I've since started to use other oils.

I purchased it when I first joined the board and didn't like it at first, but now I use it when I wear my hair pulled back and I also use it to seal my moisturizer (NTM Silk Touch). It gives great shine and is a heavy enough oil for wearing those slicked back styles (also makes my little curly cues POP when I apply it after my NTM Silk Touch)

As far as a growth aid, I don't think it really had an affect on my growth.
