Has anyone lightly texturized a section of hair to better match the rest? For example, you have 4a larger coils and the back portion is a really tight very small coils with extreme shrinkage.
If so, is it easier to handle? Do you have breakage in the texturized parts?
I haven't done it personally, but I know someone who has. It worked for her, but she didn't know how much work it would entail to upkeep it.
The main issue would be consistency, which may be difficult because every time you texturize, you'd have to make sure that the tightly-wound coils don't get overprocessed, etc. and match the looser curls.
I think it helped her because she literally had two completely different textures on her head. If she had a closer pattern, she probably wouldn't have done it.
So I guess if your two textures are bearable, really think if that's something you want to do...
