Has anyone gone from a texturizer to a relaxer?

I am thinking about going from a texturizer to a relaxer which would require either cutting off my texturized hair or straightening it. Has anyone done this and, if so, what was your experience? Did you have breakage and/or was it seamless? My hair is 4 a/b and only very mildly texturized (easier to comb but texture looks the same).

Hi,
I went from texturised hair to relaxed hair but I had to transition for 4.5 months gradually cutting off the texturised hair. I did experience little breakage during the transition period and my hair is also 4A/4B. I texturised with my hair with Soft & Beautiful no lye and relaxed with Motions regular (lye). My hair turned out to be lovely. Good luck!
