Hey all... My 11 week stretch is coming to an end (it was supposed to be 12 weeks but I got to look fresh for the Mary J Blige concert on 10/2 :yep:). I got my hair done in a salon last time with Affirm Mild Moisture plus. I have always heard raves about ORS and I want to do my touch ups myself. Has anyone texlaxed with ORS and if so what are you methods? Or should i just stick with the Affirm?

Oooo and if anyone in here has used the honey color showers please let me know... Im trying to kick up my hair a notch... and i been dying to try this...

I use it ORS lye relaxer to texlax! I love it and won't change!!! I have quite thick 4a/4b hair and leave the regular (for fine to medium hair) relaxer in for 13-15 mins with minimal smoothing. I put vaseline on the pre-texlaxed hair and away I go.

I was going to put castor oil on my previous texlaxed hair and 2 tablespoons in my ORS since I think I have 3C and i dont think its thick.... i think i just have a lot of it so I am gonna add some oild since they dont make this in a mild

I texlax with ORS.

It's the best relaxer I've tried, and I've tried about 5 or 6 others. It leaves my hair really soft, strong, shiny and it breaks my hair down rather well.

I've never used any salon brands, so I can't compare it with affirm.

I plan to try this on my next touch-up. Lil sis, You will enjoy MJB. I hate she is not coming to my city. I will prob. try to catch her some where.
