Anyone taken crown?

I did last year just prior to getting my new job, and it really has helped me with saving, with my attitude at work.
I suggest anyone take the class. And if your church doesn't offer it, see if another one does. Or suggest it to your pastor.
I think as black Christian females the class is VERY important

I was just about to sass this lady here for something and I immediately referred back to one of the lessons... Shut me right up and had me Praising God that I even have a coworker to complain about instead of sitting at home all day with no money.

That sounds like a good ministry for those who need to learn how to take care of their finances and good words of advice as well.

I have used some of Crown's resource materials and I am very fond of Larry Burkett's wisdom. Especially what he said in the 80s/90s as it has reached fruition now in several world economies. Greece anyone? I am more of a Dave Ramsey follower though.They are both very similar IMO. ITA that all Christians especially those of color, should learn what to do and what not to do with $$. Generally speaking we are volumes behind other races concerning fiscal knowledge. As a result too many are angry and feel hopeless. That hopelessness drives them to unncessarily look to someone/ something to blame their ignorance on. It creates a dependency on an unsustainable system. They learn to bite the very hand that feeds themerplexed **sigh**

I listen to Crown Financial snippets on my morning radio programming...never took their courses/classes, but I'd align them with Dave Ramsey in what is offered.

We are in the process of studying a Crown financial course at my church. I am learning so much about myself and my attitude toward money/finances. I had to repent and get back on track. I'm loving every minute of it though!
