In considering taking down my locks.

Besides that I am wondering what my plan should be once I have taken them down...
I would like the flexibility of being able to wear my hair sstraight at times, but want to aviod heat.

I love being natural so I am not inclined to want to relax (just not my pref.)....

Anyone have any recs????

Any insight??

Texlaxing is relaxing its just letting the relaxer process for a shorter period of time.

If you want to take down your locs you should at the very least allow your hair to rest for a good while afterward as that process can be very taxing on the hair.

I see you're new to the board welcome!:flowers: I think you should take your time, peruse the board and soak up all the info the natural on here have to share and maybe you can start building a regimen for your loose natural hair.

A for straightening.....you can definitely straighten your natural hair and do it often...heat doesn't have to be your enemy.
