Anyone take days to remoisturize after wash?

HELP! Whenever I wash and airdray, it takes my texturized hair several days and almost an entire bottle of moisturizer (wave nouveau/glyerin) to stop drawing up into a bush! Any suggestions?

dont have any suggestions, but wanted to say that the same think used to happen to me when i was permed...took about 2-3 after the wash before my hair looked and felt moisturized!

What shampoo/conditioners conditioners do you use?

How do you dry your hair?

Do you only use that moisturizer?

It sounds like your shampoo may be too strong or your moisturizers not heavy enough.

This dryness occurs even when I conditioner wash. When I shampoo, I've been using Nexxus Therrappe or its knock-off Suave Humectant Shampoo. As for conditioners, I've been using Nexxus Humectress or its knock-off Suave Humectant Conditioner. I use them both for conditioner washes and as leave-in hairdresses, as indicated on the Humectress bottle. Then I go to the wave nouveau for more added moisture. And I am airdrying my air. I don't know what else to do.
