I want to try them on my newly relaxed hair. I tried them 3 years ago when I transitioned to natural and they were ok. I took them back but would like to retry. Any tips on making curls last?

I do but honestly, my hair was almost too long for the extra long narrow ones from jump. Also, my hair only holds that kind of a curl for 2 days. While they are much more comfortable to sleep in than hard rollers, I'm starting to think the time put in to setting my hair with them just doesn't add up. At any rate, I still have no regrets.

I just texlaxed and I'm thinking about giving this a try. I heard so many bad reviews about breakage that I never used the ones I purchased and ended up taking them back. Let us know how it goes.

I have some pics in my album.
They last for me..
I use foam wrap lotion and Chi SI on wet hair and I make sure my hair is soaking wet before applying. When they start to age I put them in a banana clip, and when I sleep at night I pin them to the top of my head. Use whatever you use when you regular rollerset that work.

I still use them. I haven't used them with any product so I don't know how to make the look last. I usually don't need it to last more than a day. :giggle: I haven't experienced any breakage with them; not even when I used them on braids.

I haven't used mine since I chopped b/c the idea of setting my hair is exhausting. :look:

But transitioning I used them with a Foaming Wrap lotion and slept with them in a loose puff on top of my head. You could also probably twist them also.
