yes, I use them in my nappy naptural hair for French rolls. I've got a pic in my fotki. Its the one in the blue tee where I've stuck a feather in my hair.

There's a lady at my gym that wears them, and they look really cute in her hair...she has the prettiest waistlength hair. I just know she is a member here, I always want to ask her if she's Niko's cousin, but then I chicken out.:perplexed

I wore one today and loved it, but I just relaxed. I can't wear one when I'm past 6 weeks post. I've already broken one and my hair really isn't as thick as most people's hair. Bre Bre, I don't see how in the world you could wear one! :nono:

LOL your smilie looks really concerned :lachen: I'll bet your hair looked awesome! I dunno Lavendar. MissFadu is rocking one in her natchal naps, our hair looks to be about the same thickness, actually her hair is probably thicker than mine (i have a gazillion self made layers :perplexed) so it should work. I am going to find one hopefully soon and give it a go

yeah, i'm feeling that banana clip one and the one where your hair is straightened and you have it pulled back with bobby pins?? Those are hot
Thanks! For the bananna clip do, try rollersetting or blowing out your hair a little. Then put your hair into a pony with an elastic first, place the clip, then take out the pony. This helps get the clip super secure. HTH. Oh yeah, gel is ur friend!

That makes sense :yep: As soon as I can find one of these bad boys locally i'm going to be all over it. Thanks for the tips!!

Did you try putting your hair in an elastic first? Give it a go. If my natchal napps can do it you can too, LOL. Stylists hate doing my hair cause its so thick, even way back in the day when it was relaxed!

I love the ponytail method you have Missfadu. Thanks for for the tip! I must admit Bre, I'm still a little concerned about you though....you hair is like...WHOA!!!:spinning:

Bre Bre...girl, you haven't updated your pics in ages. What gives?

Yes, I fell in love with banana clips last year when I was 8 weeks post relaxer.

this is how I was wearing it CLICK ME.

Now...I'm 11 months post relaxer and trying not to use heat so much.

That banana clip is so fearful of my hair. For real! It would tremble with fear if I took it out of the drawyer.

Why you gotta call me out and stuf? :look: :lachen::lachen::lachen:

Your hair is super pretty!!! I can imagine that banana clip cowering undering your rollers and rubberhands trying to hide

i do. but very rarely. maybe once a month. i use to use them all the time for protective styling but they broke my hair off in the middle where the clip slides through.

OK, I have a bunch of them in the back of my drawer (I used to LOOOVE wearing them), and you guys are making me wanna break them out and wear them again!! I thought they were outdated... This is GOOD news!! :yep:

Yeah I used one about a month ago. I have a pic in my fotki. I tried to use it again a week ago and it broke. I went out bought another one and it broke again. So my 13+ post hair just --------> :lachen:@ them now.
