I've seen this ad in a few mags for Profectiv and their doing this contest http://www.megagrowthchallenge.com/rules.asp

But aside from that, is anyone using their entire MegaGrowth product line? If so, how is it? For some reason I'm skeptic of this line, I've used the cream moisturizers in the little tubs before and I've always had little hair breakage from them, haven't really been impressed overall. So just wondering if anyone is having success with their poo's, DC's and other prods.

I've tried some of their products in the past, but they left build-up on my hair. I haven't tried any of the new MegaGrowth stuff, though. The products aren't bad, they just didn't work for me, so I've never been tempted to try the line again.

For $10K??? Heck yeah, I'll do this. I wonder if the deep conditioner is any good. If the products are decent, it sounds like a great project.

Yeah, the hair lotion is great. Really moisturizes. Only about $4 or $5 and it smells good too. I REALLY like it.

I have been using the Root Health for almost 2 years. And I have a sample of the mega growth that I have been using on my edges. This is like a great challege for me plus I can use the extra money.

I 3rd this. The Growth Lotion has been my new best friend for the last couple of weeks. It is EXCELLENT and is the best moisturizer I have ever used. When I bought it, it was the last bottle on the shelf. I'm going to buy about 6 bottles to stash and I have never stocked up on one product before but this stuff is THAT damn good. I mix it in my hand with JBCO or sometimes use it straight and seal with Vatika and I am losing no hair at all. Even my raggedy ends are staying intact so I'm not cutting them.

I feel my Pj-ism acting up. Is it really that good? how's the consistency?

OT: Kissyprissy, your hair looks great! Did you do your rollerset yourself?

I need to stay out of every single thread that has a product or product line in the title. Yall be having my money spent before I get it.

Msshic and Glamourous - Go get the Growth Lotion.......you won't regret it. I have tried damn near every moisturizer mentioned on this site and was never satisfied. I used to like the NTM but I don't think the cones work for me. I was about to order the Qhemet Sidr Tree Butter or the Qhemet Heavy Cream I hear raves about but I said let me try the Growth Lotion first since I can pick it up locally. Well, I am in LOVE with this stuff. As a matter of fact, I'm leaving work now to go and see if I can find a beauty supply store that has it in stock. It is cheap too so it won't be a big loss if you don't like it. I overprocessed my hair big time 4 weeks ago and even though I regularly DC, only comb on wash days and do all the right things, I think the Growth Lotion has something to do with me not having any breakage. My ends are not the best and I used to always have a lil strand or 2 in my hands after running moisturizer through my hair. Well ladies, those days are OVA. The Growth Lotion is da truth! Ok......I'm starting to sound like a commercial but you get my drift.

Logging out of LHCF to go get the Growth Lotion :lachen: :lachen: :lachen:

ETA: It is a white creamy consistency that works best if you emulsify it in your hand and then apply

I used the Growth Lotion. I put it in my hair before I blow-dried and flat-ironed. My hair was so silky and smooth afterwards I couldn't believe it was my hair. I checked the ingredients and it has silk amino acids in it, which I think contributed to the nice finish. I would definitely use it again.

I might have to try that. I saw the line in the BSS today, but I wanted to get some reviews first. And of course the LHCF ladies had all the info :)

I'm washing and re doing my 2 strand twists this weekend. I'm adding extensions and using the C&G method for 1 month. I will pick this up for when I relax my hair.

Does this have cones in it?

Hmmm. Good ingredients, but my hair really doesn't respond too well to cones.:perplexed They make my hair feel all sticky and waxy. That was my major beef with the Profectiv Break Free.

But for $10K, I might just have to try it and clarify more often....

What all products must you use? Do you HAVE to use profectiv exclusively?

I may give this a try. Seriously:look: .

I kinda don't want to win because of that modeling contract. I bet they will (atleast TRY to, but that won't be happening lol) fry dye and lay my hair to the side.:look:

Umm, I don told yall about 2-3 months ago about the growth lotion and the deep conditioner! I LOVE THEM!

ETA:
Ladies get this from Walmart. At least in my area, it's almost 50-80 cents cheaper than anywhere else.

I used the MegaGrow lotion and tweaked it with jojba oil, cator oil, and olive oil, the result were amazing! Deep Moisturize, it also works as a good heat protector on the ends and lengths of the hair. The Growth Revitalizer is also good on the ends of the hair to protect it, it makes thye hair smoothe etc. This product line is pretty good stuff, even though I haven't try all of them, still kinda skeptical.:ohwell:
