Anyone know how to thin out a wig?

im trying to work with this lace front im dying it this evening, a chesnut brown, dark chesnut blonde and a lighter chestnut blonde...

Anyone know how to do it? its too bulky for me

I would place the wig on a wig stand and use a razor to go in between the layers to cut. This will help on the fullness. Also, BSS stores have a razor/comb combo that while you are combing the hair on a certain angle it cuts the hair. Last thing is maybe get a stylist to do it for you. You can wear the wig in the salon and just ask them the thin it out for you. This should only be about $20.00.

I bought thinning shears...girl it makes such a big difference....

Im going to thin it out some more a little later

Try to post some pictures once you are done. Take your time in doing it. My hairdreser always tell me to go in between layers to thin things out.
