Anyone heard on the split-ender?

No but this looks interesting let me read it. I hope its not like the FLOW-BEE

It really sound interesting. You go first!

It looks like it trims hair along the shaft. The only thin I want trimmed is the 1/8 inch at the bottom. This almost sounds to good to be true

.

I watched the informercial just this past Sunday. I thought it was funny that they didn't have any kinky-haired ladies. Even the black-haired ladies all appeared to have 3b and 3c hair type. Just interesting...

LOL! That's "i-n-f-o-m-e-r-c-i-a-l" Apparently I need to brush up on my spelling...

Yes, there was an infomercial on and they just kept playing it over and over again on some channel, I can't remember now..

No its not that. I'm a sucker for them. If I watch something often enough I can see the need

for almost anything. Do you remember if it was $80 there too?
I would love for it to work for our ENDS. ya know what I mean. Oh! Oh! Oh! I should try it on the phony pony first!

Phony pony, good idea. If someone does get it and it works or doesn't work, PM me. Thanks.

Although I've never tried it, I have seen the infomercial for the split ender. It almost looked like it made people's hair a little thinner ! Also, there was a discussion of it in another thread about a month ago and someone who tried it said that it took much more than the ends of their hair off, it took over half of the strand off ! I would proceed with caution with these types of products.

Thias DOES sound very interesting but I'm scared to even put that thing near my head. If that thing messed up I wouold want to sue somebody but I know that wouldnt work so I'll just wait until somebody else tries it.

No problem, I'm really skeptical about this product. It might not negatively affect evryone's hair, but I don't want to take any chances. I'd want to sue somebody if it took off more than 1/4 of an inch

I hope it works for some people, but after seeing the other thread a while back I'm way too afraid to try it.

I must correct my earlier comments. I just did a search on the split ender and the breakage caused by this product I was referring to is from LHCF member MuseofTroy. She said that the split ender broke off 3-4 inche pieces of some strands of one of her friend's hair ! I thank her for posting that because when I read that a while back it confirmed my worries about the product.

i am going to purchase it... a friend of mine purchased it about a month ago and i have watched her use it...and so have i( had to give it a personal try)...and it takes off no more than you want( like the infomercial says you can actually see how much it cuts off when you empty the container and it is by far very little...and it is also provides an even cut)...i honestly have decided to purchase based on actually seeing it for myself...
BUT you do have to be cautious about anything you buy regarding hair...one takes risks with everything...

Ladybug, what hair type does your friend have? And how did she prepare the hair before she started swiping. Because it seems like your hair has to be straight straight before you can use it. It also says that you cannot have any other products on your hair while using the thing, like styling products, serums, oils. I don't know how I would get my hair superstraight without the use of products.

perfect peace

I was worried about something like that it kind of seems too good to be true-which ususally means it is.
Ladybug keep us posted on how it goes.
thanks

I don't want to discourage anyone but the thing frightens me. Anything cutting my hair but running it over my hair scares me. I would like to have a little more control. Anyone trying it, please let us know how it works for you.

LOL Yeah I saw this last night and did you notice the Before shots, they were all mussed up and frizzed up On Purpose Im sure, then in the after picture all they did probably was comb it. And the Black girl, sittin there holding the smoking curling iron to her hair ... Nobody does that.

I'd be leery of this thing.

Has anyone tried it yet???
