I've finally decided to cut my hair into a nice bob (can't wait) and I'm going to let a woman in my church that owns a shop do it. She gave me a gift certificate last year for my birthday to get the works.
Anyway, she's really good (almost every woman at my church goes to her) and I was asking her what relaxer she uses. She said it depends on the hair type as to which one she would use (that was plus in my book for her) but for me she would use Design Essentials because it has good conditioners and moisturizers in it, and it would be gentle on my hair type. Allandra uses that and loves it too. Anyway, the stylist mentioned to me that she just found a Design Essentials LOW LYE that she wants to try on her hair first and she said after she does it on her hair, if she likes it, she would use it on mine. I'm going to let her do it. She said she was told that it acts more like a texturizer. I was wondering if anyone ever heard of this? I'm going to let her do it though.
