I do....and I know it might seem a bit weird but it doesn't matter what way I position it I can always feel the heat on my face.

......just wondering how much damage can it do to your hair having it on 24-7?

Well, I doubt you have it on your hair 24/7 - but I a few hours won't cause any damage.

Only thing with forced heat/air (ie. electric heater) is that they reduce the humidity in the room thus making the hair and skin drier.

 My heater runs 24/7 even in the summer. It could be 98 degrees outside and my heater is on. The AC in my office is killer and I'm ALWAYS cold. I don't know about hair damage, my feet get cold so it's always on the floor. It never hits my face.

Mine Too....it is so cold in my office!! my heater is on the floor because my feet is ALWAYS cold, but for some reason I can feel the heat on my face and if my hair is out..i know that hot air is hitting it ...so it made me wonder....

I had to get rid of my heater. :perplexed I tried to hold out as long as possible but someone set a toaster on fire. The boss recieved an email of illegal electrical appliances.

Haha I'm a dummy.. I just re-read the post. Sorry Kiki you meant having the heater on 24/7 whereas I read it has having it blowing on your HAIR 24/7 .. my bad.

Anyway yea so like I said in my second paragraph ... the only issue with forced air (heater) is the lack of humidity in the room (which causes coughs and colds also). This is why it is a good idea to have a humidifier or vaporizer running during this time, to balance it out.

:yep: I do... everyday... all day! I don't know about the damage to hair, but my office stays cold no matter what temp it's set to... so heater stays on.

I have one under my desk throughout the whole year and it feels so good..

I had to move the appliance further away from my feet when I realized it was burning my skin. My right ankle area had red blotches as if I was sunburned. Sure enough, I looked it up on the internet and it was a burn which takes months to go away and for me turned dark brown as it healed. Not sexy. So now, I make sure my legs are protected and avoid skin to heat contact! J
