I haven't tried any of those, but I have purchased Qhemet Biologic's detangler conditioner and had some success with it as I thought it was the only thing that could detangle my hair until I started detangling my hair under water using VO5 Silky Experiences Smoothing Conditioner and wala! I've also used the Alma & Olive Heavy Cream and found it to be rather moisterizing, but I think I can duplicate it and save some $.

If you are successful with your recipe will you please post it here or PM me? I'd love to continue using this product but the cost of shipping to my location is almost double the price of the product.

I used to spend a lot on ordering natural products online but I'm broke and now I find that drugstore and health food store products work just as well (even better for me). I also like making my own products cause I can save money and control the ingredients and smell of the products.

I use to love the amla & Olive heavy cream but now I use humectress and coconut and still get moisturized hair. Teh whipped shea butter from Oyin is nice, but I make and love the ton of whipped butter I make at a fraction of the cost.

The braid pomade from Oyin is a product that I love because of the consistency, but the smell is overpowering and I am gonna find out how to make it on my own.

I just feel better about saving a few extra dollars and the convenience factor of getting products in my neighborhood and also making stuff own my own.
