Other than in a spray bottle?

I am out close to being out of Profectiv breakfree (which is my heart!) and won't be repurchasing for a few weeks and I have some Humecto that I want to try as a moisturizer. I wash twice weekly so buildup won't be an issue.

Anyone do this?

Well I dont use Humecto, but I do use Elucence MB conditioner as a moisturizer, too. My hair seems to like it.:)

nah, conditioner never really works for my hair if i use it daily. leave i ncon, yes, but not ya usualy con

Is the Profectiv Breakfree a protein contitioner? I have the healthy ends that I use a couple times a week and I'm thinking of buying this also...do you use it everyday?

BreakFree is a leave-in conditioner. Girl i use it everyday, twice a day, now that I am bunning. It is kinda heavy which I like and it makes my hair soft.

My hair doesn't even notice the protein but it does make it feel strong.

yep, i use it every day, sometimes i skip a day if i've used it over a total of 3 days to avoid greasyness. maybe on the 3rd day i use water, KC oil moisturizer and then the coconut oil

Thanks, I think I'll buy it. Oh, to answer your question, I used to use my old cheapie conditioner as a moisturizer and it worked just fine, but when I did this I was Co-washing like every other day.

Well, I only recently realised oil doesn't count as a moisturiser..........
so have been using Nexxus Humectress since then, under the oil. I put half a pump to a pump of it on my wet hair.
I can't really tell the difference, but I feel 'hair peace of mind' knowing I'm not drying out my hair

yep. i recently started using suave strawberry under my organics carrot oil cream. i usually rinse with water the day after and my hair has been sooooo soft.

I have used Proclaim Aloe & Shea Butter Conditioner and Suave Milk & Honey as leave-ins. They both can do double duty! :yep:

I just recently started doing this on my natural hair and it works great. The only thing you have to worry about it build-up, but since you wash twice a week, this shouldn't be a problem. HHG.

I was doing this for two months with Elucence MB, Vo5, and Suave. My hair would airdry hard. Then I tried to use less conditioner. My hair felt a little better, but not great. Last week, I tried using water and olive oil (any kind of oil works), and my hair has NEVER felt better! I spray my hair with bottled water, then put the oil on. Try the water and oil, it may work for you!

Ya, know, I've tried that a while back and it jsut didn't work for me. But I will try it again later on.

That's why I love Humectress, because I can use it either way.

I use Humectress for the past few nights. I mixed some with EVOO and a few squirts of Aphogee Keratin Spray. It feels funny going on, kinda sticky, but once my hair absorbs it feels really soft and nice. Great cheap alternative.
