Anyone else LOVES Wedding Wednesdays on Essence?

I am absolutely addicted to Wedding Wednesdays in Essence. My favorite wedding so far was Nana and Akinola's. Their wedding was featured two weeks ago I think. I even looked up their videographer . They may be making an international trip when I get married.

Do you guys look at it?

Oh yes I do, I love it! And I remember Nana and Akinola, that was beautiful. I didn't like the one today though.

I had never heard of this before, but I googled it and Nana and Akinola were on a show that I watch featuring their wedding a couple of weeks ago-- "TLC's "Masters of Reception".

I loved being able to see more of their wedding through Essence's site. It just reminds me that I want my hair to be longer than my groom's on my wedding day, also, I will make sure to pamper my hands so they look pretty in pics too! LOL They went out of their way to promote their wedding and I wonder who they are. <shrug> Still it was a beautiful ceremony and I felt the love.

I even liked the other wedding on the Essence site for the editor. No one looked happy at her ceremony, but their celebration in the street and the spaklers at night were beautiful.

Maracuja, the wedding that's on today isn't really my style (I'm still not a fan of black for weddings). I thought some of the concepts were cute though, like the walk through the city.

I remember the editor's wedding too Xerxes. Taking it to the streets really was unique. That's one of the things I love about the feature. I want my wedding to be very much traditional but with some unconventional ideas to make it special. Some of those brides do some pretty neat things.

Yup BGT. Every Wednesday on Essence.com they showcase a black couple's wedding. It usually includes a slideshow with wedding pics and the couple's love story. Sometimes there'll be a wedding video too.

yes! I love Nana/Akinyola but my favorite was Kia/Jason ...I loved the ambiance, the bridesmaid dresses and the black and white photos.

I really liked Kia and Jason's wedding too! I loved how she incorporated black in her wedding, which is what I want to do for my future wedding.

Oh yes I remember that wedding. She was such a stunning bride too. Her reception decor just screamed class!
