Hi everybody. I've been using ORS No-Lye Mild for about a year now and I'm starting to wonder if it's the cause of shedding I experience at 5 weeks or so post-relaxer. I typically stretch btwn 8-10 weeks and I'd say I'm pretty good at the protein/moisture balance. I also do an Aphogee hard treatment at my first wash (a week afterwards). However, there's an above-normal amount of shedding and my crown is underprocessed while the other areas are still semi-straight. My stylist is usually pretty good about watching the processing time and starting with that area since it seems to be the most resistant.
Has anyone else experienced this and/or switched brands because of it? Which would you recommend?
